    Damn right we stack on crown and heal. If they don't want so many people in one spot fighting for legit objectives, they should think smaller scale . Because they've clearly stated it's not a hardware issue, yet they've had over a year to fine-tune the code.

    Why bother getting good at a game and it's tactics if the dev's discourage it?

    I was with GoS when Zazeer was being deposed, and that was a load of cow-dung. I agree with you that it shouldn't be able to flip if there's a friendly Player Character within flag radius.

    . Its not much skill or tactics to ball up and spam... BTW if you are stacking up intentionally to start the lag you should be banned... I'm all for people playing the way they want.... But if one style of play interferes with the performance of the game something should be done......

    So, I'll address this. To be clear, I'm in that fight. Look in the upper left of Legacy X's raid frames. That's me there as Agrippa Inv (truncated).

    So let's address this false accusation real quick.

    At the start of the video you see DH at the top eastern stairs of Fort Aleswell. We're fairly spread and killing guards and solo players. Up until that point the keep had been fairly well cleared of blue (and by then, NPCs). The call is given to flip the Apse flag. What's not seen in the video is a blue reinforcement wave coming in the western postern. You see some of them coming in through the eastern postern (breached) as well. It's when those two forces contact that Legacy's put in the musical queue and you see him take a hard rubberband from a KB effect (Meteor it appears).

    Instead of lag stacking with the blue we push through them to the nave. We swap back and forth more than once in an effort to 1) flip the keep and 2) not be stacked in one place spamming AEs, which would draw every blue to us like a moth to a flame to make it worse.

    You see, in that nave, blue DKs spamming the ever loving crap out of banners. There are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more banners drawn in than could have been legitimately placed. Meanwhile blue is rezzing every corpse in the keep and they're running back onto the flags in an effort to save the keep, which unfortunately, makes matters worse. And we can't do anything about it because none of our damage is registering and siege can't be placed. Personally, I could barely even get light attacks to show up -- I didn't drop an ulti the whole fight since I couldn't generate any points.

    The only time 'stop moving' is called (as heard over the TS) is when both flags were red and we pause to see if the keep flips. It does and even then we end up taking forever to clean it up due to the lag. As a topper, Legacy X desynced and crashed out (as shown in the video).

    So in the end, what you see is a crappy server failing to handle even basic group fighting. There's no stacking a corner or making a tight little ball and spamming just one thing or another over and over, but attempting to work the mechanics of keep fighting (flipping two flags by standing on them).

    Take your bitter recriminations and stuff them. If you think I, or my guild, are 'lagsploiting' (god, do I hate that word) then /report me and I'll have a pleasant conversation with a GM.

    There's the video, nothing untoward is being done. The server code just sucks more than a Hoover vacuum trapped in a black hole. We're using the same skills we use in vDSA or Hel Ra or while farming delves and use the same buttons, and there's no lag there, even with 12 people stacked on the second boss of AA spamming damage and AEs.

    let's face it, zergblobbing is the optimal strategy for winning in eso pvp, until zos changes sad mechanics like the flags, it will remain that way

Funny thing, we never see that same group of players during the evening and no they aren't aussies. Oh the shame lol

    • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities

    the real competition on chillrend right now during primetime is not dieing to lag.

    i think the less people on the flag the faster it should flip, that way if your small group, or solo are skilled enough to own everyone you shouldnt be punished by how long it takes for a damn flag to flip and end up getting zerged. this will cause zergs to try and spread out on flags a bit (maybe, but they are mindless peons) the more people on the flags the slower it flips.

    hows that for backwards awesomeness. i guess you can see im sick of getting zerged after fighting through 20 enemies and npcs everywhere just to have a zerg roll up behind our 3 man group to not have the damn thing flip for 10 damn minutes.

    Instead of zergballing the flag to flip it while fighting, this would force you to clear the keep, then move off the flag to flip. Forcing the ACTUAL objective (taking over the keep) instead of just zerging the flag.

    Discourage Zerg balls through game mechanics. Instead of making AOE have diminishing returns (in PVP only), have it amplify the more targets you hit.

    This is true and confirmed. There is only one banner which deal damage. But it's been prouven also that people spamming ultimates like this create even more particles to register from both server and client side and increase the lag even more. This is why we ask all players to stop spamming their ultimate and drop a million of them on the flag because first of all, only one will register in the end (it doesn't deal more damage) and second, because it decreases performances even more.

    Are you really that ignorant? You think we enjoy lag AND intentionally create it?
    It's definitely skill and even more so tactics to stack up.

    Game Mechanics are written in Coding BTW.

    Coding and mechanics are two different items... The code in this game is not that bad actually ... The mechanics are great in PVE but in PvP the machanics stress the servers when AOE get out of hand... As lag begins more people spam aoe due to the fact its the only ability in the game that will continue to go off...
    Balling up maybe tactics ... But no skill ... When does standing in a green circle involve skill lol...
    I really try to avoid you guys to be honest that's why I left Lagblade ....but now every one of these servers has ball zerg guilds :(
