Did they ever put an Auction House in the game?
With all the crafting that is core to this game, an AH is a necessity.
Public Guild Stores are NOT the answer.

Ah they actually went 1 better and removed chat logs .... So unless you play on pc, the only way to trade really is thru guild stores, unless you want to attempt run around and try to get in voice chat range of random people and hope they are even in the chat channel ....
Oh or you can use the guild stores .....lol
Luckily i can craft make everything for myself and make plenty gold from theft.
LOL i love all the rude responses to people in this like...wow,
also i see people saying that an AH would kill the economy but there isn't an economy unless you consider GS which you can't use unless you're in a guild with 50 people

Well, to be completely honest, guild stores are not as mandatory as many perceive though the lack of a guild store will make trading and selling more tedious. In-person trading and selling is still a thing, and if you are willing to haggle and dedicate time, is still a valuable source of income. In some cases (rare as they are) they are even more singularly profitable to the player than typical guild stores due to the easier ability to adjust prices to the regional market that many within guilds are usually oblivious of due to their wide-spread levels and activities in different regions and zones.

Except on console where that can't happen, lol.
I really like the way it is now. In my opinion it stabilizes the market. There are different prices in different guilds, so theres a way of making profit. There are limited auction slots so people avoid selling at unreasonable prices. There is a constant battle for the best trading NPC, so the top guilds have to perform well in order to stay on top.
In my opinion changing it is not necessary.

You say real mmo, I say another copy/paste crap fast I discard after a week or so. Auction Houses, IMO, are a cancer to any mmo economy. You'll never make a cent selling your junk with the 500k other people selling the same thing darn near less than you can sell it to an npc merchant for. More convenient for finding that one, off the wall item, yes. I'll concede it's better at that. But check the AH on a dozen or so mmo's. You'll find 2 or three character names control all of the high end items as well as the mass quantities of resources. Sadly, some of the time, these players are actually bots. The rest is a mess of listings from poor saps who are using the AH as more of a junk storage than avenue for profit.
not this old chestnut again!!
The current system is great, enough said. All the people whinging about having to travel to find things need to get on with it and if they don't like it go play the game and find the item as a drop and not through buying of other players!!
Simple!

Seriously, I just want the ease of finding a particular item or two. I've always seemed to make money on the few items I've sold via other games auction houses.
