Latency increase since Update 6

Hi all.
I have wondered if I am the only one that experience increased latency ingame since update 6 was released.
At the moment, standing by the wayshrine in Mournhold, Deshaan I have a latency of ~200. Before update 6 it was never above 150.

    I think it's gotten worse too, especially in Cyrodiil.

    Hello @SnowmanDK,

    No, your not alone. There are tons of lag issues for everyone in the game now. Both on the NA and EU servers. There have been countless tickets put in for the issue with no comment from ZOS at the moment on how they plan to resolve this. For now it looks like it's only going to get worse sooner than better.

    Yeah, major amimation/response delays in combat and in non-combat/non-NPC interactions, world freezes even in Vet PvE (where you are effectively cut off from the server and can run around without the ability to use/do/interact with anything from the client side while server side your character is just standing there), getting booted back to the log-in screen with the password prompt, etc, etc. I might play a long while with minimal latency/connection issues and then a lag tsunami blows in making the game unplayable. Seemed to reach these extreme levels, as opposed to the mild yet annoying delay level, sometime either late Monday night or after 1.6.6 was installed on Tuesday.

    The following does little to nothing (mostly nothing) to help when I experience these issues: the /reloadui command, relogging the character, reloading/restarting the game, checking drivers (they are up to date), checking internet connection (perfectly fine), flushing DNS, repairing the game, restarting the computer. Pretty much all the steps a customer service agent will go over with you. Plus I've seen reports of long page loading times on these forums and one person even said the trailer playback was choppy.

    I just went online now... game latency: 999+
    Kicked off after a minute to login screen...
    Tried to log back on...
    Got an error:
    <<1>>
    What use is that??? (I got that error yesterday too after getting kicked to login screen)
    Tried to login again, and finally got to cahracter select.
    Chose a character...
    After about 2 minutes, error:
    <<1>>
    Back at login screen...

    Huge lag here. In fact the game logged me out and relogging in took several attempts. It seems to be worse near swamps for some reason. Many times my character cannot launch spells (kinda in frozen mode) and when attempting to perform an action with a quester or a quest item, i exp lag to the point of that action launches me out of game.

    I thought it was due to background norton security activity, but the lag and being booted out of game continues even after placing norton on disable mode.

    For the last several days it seems to be getting worse.

    I am glad to hear its a system issue (many others are exp this too) and not my addons as they are awesome and i only use a couple.

    I hope eso devs are aware of these bugs or whatever it is and are working on it. For as it currently is at least for me its bordering on unplayable.

    Its an awesome game otherwise.

    I hope that their non return comm cycle means that they are up to their hips in dealing with it.

    Its far to good of a game to let become unplayable as it is.

    They ought to launch a full blown announcement so that everyone comprehends that this is a system thing and not their pc or internet etc and that they are indeed aware and working on it.

    Yep...many of us are exp the exact same thing.

    From...wow...lag is gone..must have been the norton or internet glitch (56mbs speed tho) and back in biz to ...whack..unplayable.

    Its not on our end..not one blip of it.
