Templar OP?

    Do not forget, that most of our class skills STILL don't synergize with the weapon skills. We've as good as nothing for melee weapons and no bonuses for Destro-Staff... (no lightining, fire, ice dmg ++bonus whatever).

    NOW, they even nurf the way a Resto-Staff works together with our heals.
    Other classes have synergies, as the DK with +% fire damage, as the mage with..., as the NB with etc.

    I bet, if s.o. would do the work, he would find many more "synergies" of other classes, that the Templar class is simply missing. The +% crit on heals was what made us real healers, now we just are crappy healers with some heal-spells, other classes would like to have, that basically DO NOT compensate for the lack in damage and synergies:

    AGAIN: please give us POSSIBILITIES to have our class skills work together with the weapon skills, as other classes:
    CHANGE MAGIC DAMAGE (and all relative skills) to LIGHTNING/FIRE/COLD DAMAGE

    This would be a start!

    Last time I checked radiant destruction were fire based.

    I will fact check this when I get home from work.

    It's magic damage. Easy to test, download combat cloud and look for the damage colours based on elements.

    Yes, but the damage is under the carpet. In PvP where really everybody is running on max armor/magic resistances, the base damage, combined with a joke of a DoT and a snare, isn't worth it for me
    .
    No burst damage and a slow is the weakest form of CC.
    Make it a ROOT and I'd be happier :)
    You know that in this game roots aren't considered "serious CC", so it wouldn't matter if it's either root or slow, since they both (quoting many users) are no CCs. Give us more root, less slow!

    Reflective light will not make it into my bar until I see the DoT tick for 300-400 dmg, with resistances 200+..

    Meh. Its cheap so I can cast it, and if I am interpreting it right, it would also boost my healing crit,; which I feel like I need after the mending change and with resto no longer helping, just casting a dawns wrath ability gives my allies and I all a major empower buff; right?

    BTW; while we are talking about damage, what magicka abilities are everyone planning on using in PvP in 1.6 for a templar? Melee I still think jabs will be good, but I hate giving the CC immunity and would rather it not KB someone. Same goes for blazing spear.

    I will be dissapointed if in final release tamplar's charge will be still with "bugged" GCD.

    I'll let my 2-Hander do most of my talking in PvP. And Blazing Shield. In PvP, I used most of my Templar abilities for support and heals.

    Entropy > vamp bane > focused charge (assuming it doesn't still cc the user) > unleash some jabs till they break free > jesus beam if they are under 50% and don't just re pop a shield.
    Haven't tested this extensively but there doesn't seem to be much choice for magika melee temps.

    Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

    Eh, Templar tanks are only on par with DK tanks on single target/boss encounters. DKs are much better most of the time. This is going to be even more so in 1.6 since we lost what little AoE CC we had and Restoring Aura got nerfed into the ground. Also, Templar are not top DPS. They are just competitive now.

    Only a *** DK can't tank better than a Templar on any scenario mate.
