Is it worth anything? I mean, it's not part of a set or anything.
can you screen or better post a link-code?

I found this staff as well. I love the way it looks. Its the one Abnur Tharn uses. I was hoping it was what the new Xivkyn staves would look like. Anyways mine is only a V5 but I still have it.

This is from the crafted sets on the pts. I believe its in the Xivkyn style.

Purple rings I believe to be a final boss drop from AA (Warlock) and Hel-Ra (Syrabane), but you may also be able to get purple rings from the trash enemies in those trials. You can at least get the blue rings from trash enemies as well as some other items that have a low percent chance drop rate such as the Stygian Dagger from AA and the Claw of the Dragon from Hel-Ra.

The First Titan set can be difficult to get as it only drops from dolmen chests that appear after the general Ozzozachar (Son of Molag Bal) has been defeated. The loot pool for a boss drop is actually 8 because there are the items "Ozzozachar's Claw" and "Ozzozachar's Tooth" that can drop.

Finally I'd like to tell any devs that may be reading how quite a few people enjoy collecting items. Please be careful with how you handle the changes in item levels because many people have worked hard to get the top level of item for the sets that they use. Also, maybe use the dolmen generals in some future content. It was always exciting to have a general appear and they are cool enough enemies for you to make content with.

Purple Rings can only drop from trash, and more frequently only drop from elite trash as opposed to small mobs. Drop rates are around 0.1-1%, so ofc they are very rare - They cannot drop from bosses as these have set loot tables to drop 1 piece of trials gear and if you're lucky a boss drop related drop part of a set, e.g. a Stygian piece of armor. Moreover, just wanted to make clear that the sets such as Sun are only bound to Hel Ra, not AA and this goes for all the sets previously listed (but I can't remember each one specifically at the point of writing this post but you've pointed out some of the others).Personofsecrets wrote: »

They all have the same drop chance as the previous rare trash drops, the chances are all just incredibly low.Personofsecrets wrote: »

Having a full Lich set, and having farmed over 1300 dolmens upon IC's release I can just make this all a bit clearer. The Gauntlets of the First Titan can only drop from Ozzozachar. Zymel Hriz drops the Lightning Staff. Nomeg Haga the frost staff.
Anaxes and Medrike, the slavemasters, drop the Two-Handed Hammer and Axe respectively. I can't remember the rest... I believe the boots are also from Ozzozacher and the chest from King Styriche of Verkarth (&companions), but I am not 100% sure on this.

I couldn't agree more, but seriously, the grind of these sets is ridiculously stupid. Having done the 1300 dolmens I only got 2 pieces of Lich and bought the rest, I had triplicates which I gave to my friends for helping me, I talk more about it in this post about how to farm dolmens and drop rates. Prestige that a set brings is all well and good, but the drop chance should be increased massively, at least to equivalent to that of boss helmets (10%) from veteran 4 player content.

Hey thanks for posting.
As far as warlock rings go, I would like to believe that it is trash only and it is possible that my friend made a mistake, but the circumstance in which my friend got one (which they traded to me) lead me to believe it was from the final boss. Let's say that my reason isn't a concrete one. That is fine because it isn't super concrete. What evidence is there that it can only be dropped from trash enemies. I'm talking about some kind of game coding or developer said word about the topic.

The first titan armor all can come from Ozzozachar. The only exception is that a version of the chest (The Bestial Rampart) is the only drop from the Hrelvessu (sp) giant daedroth boss. I also saw your question in your own threads. Yes, the traits are all the same. And that leads my to my last point.

@ZOS_RichLambert . Dolmen items are very rare. They are also bind on equip and always have the same trait. This hasn't stopped people from farming Dolmens. TO THIS DAY, people go out of their way, to Cyrodiil, to farm and help their friends farm Dolmens. Dolmens are totally irrelevant content for the vast majority of people, but because people can make money by selling the rare items that come from Dolmens, people continue to do Dolmens. Use this insight, seriously.
For example, any individual piece of the "Draugr Heritage" set has about a 1/1400 Dolmen drop rate based on my calculations. That is a .07% chance to drop. I STILL GOT MY FULL DRAUGR HERITAGE SET BEFORE MY IMPERIUM SET AND BEFORE I GOT A SINGLE PIECE OF LEECHING PLAT ARMOR. And that is all because of the BOE status. Not only does BOE single trait items make irrelevant content relevant, but it gives players something to realistically work toward.

It is despicable that the new item sets were put behind the BOP bad trait wall and I'll tell you what. I'm not the only player that doesn't have a close chance of finishing their vWGT or vICP sets. Some of the best players in the game still don't have some of the sets they want after endless farming of these places. You know what? With new sets being released vWGT and vICP sets will become irrelevant and, just like the 3-piece sets from the original veteran dungeons, not many people will have ever gotten the chance to enjoy them. It is already hard to get a group to go into the IC dungeons. Nobody wants to do this stupid grind and especially not in vICP as it is the longest veteran dungeon in the game.

Not saying you are wrong either, but I am part of a guild that tried since 1.5 to get top leaderboard positions doing these trials hundreds of times, and as many rings as we had we never had any from bosses, but anything could be possible for drop rates as low as these I wish we had some more concrete evidence but can only go on what you see in front of you in this game or what we as a community work out most of the time.
EDIT: Additionally, I just worked out how your mate got his ring for you, as you specified it was Warlock, it was therefore in AA. As the last boss in AA has adds that you kill before the boss insta-spawns (which you don't often loot, as, you know, boss!). So you kill the boss, loot the bosses corpse and it AoE loots the ring that dropped from the trash. I know this because it happened to my friend tooPersonofsecrets wrote: »

Oh granted, don't need to tell me about the rarity of the sets, and in fact it's impossible to say a drop rate as you have done. The main reason being is, if you farm solo as I did, then bring in 10 of your best friends when the boss spawns, you are very likely to have if not one, two or three drops of the sets As we know, you need a boss to spawn (around a 1/10) then the boss to be the one you need, for Lich this is a 1/8 dropping to a 1/16 once you have all the drops from a single boss, and then you have to actually get the boss to drop it (which seem to be a 1/4 from my two weeks of solid farming and calling friends in every time). I don't need caps to illustrate the point by the way, I get you, the drop sets for IC were awful, I'm on run 223 for WGT vet and still miss two pieces of spell power cure, not even mentioning to try and get perfect traits, I just want the set! I agree that about BoE items, but not everything should be BoE, especially when content is hard to complete regardless of the economy you have to keep reward, but let's not divulge further into a what should be BoE / BoP debate here please. But yeah, as for making money from dolmens, on PC EU neither of the dolmens sets readily sells. I only know myself and one other person to buy the Lich set, and of the two I am the only one with the full set (but this is only a small example). However, the sales on my addon and many of my friends spanning the major trade guilds show 1 if not no sales for the Lich. Moreover, I have had many pieces of V15 / 16 Draugh Heritage in a major trading guild in Craglorn and it hasn't sold in nearly coming up 3 months. Likewise my friends data shows no sales at all for this set Can't really say this set is a viable money farm in any sense of the word therefore, especially as the rarity boosts the price to states where most can't afford. It cost me 1.35mil for my 3 pieces and this was all my money at the timePersonofsecrets wrote: »

I am one of the players you mention endlessly farming with mates since day one, but once again, there's no point in making this into a debate which the post isn't about. Reward for being skilled enough to play it still needs to be there, but throwing the BoE brush over everything isn't the answer either. As for more relatable things, I'm personally not finding it hard to find groups, thisevening along we had a guild event with 4 separate groups farming the dungeons As for sets becoming irrelevant, that's kind of unlikely till the new content comes out... and even then we know the level cap will not increase with the coming update (they announced until the vet system is removed this will be the case). Moreover, the only sets that they could introduce that might rock the current sets which would have to be better than the current ones, and given how OP some of the current ones are, this is quite hard to do. Yay for Kena with no drawbacks

Purple rings I believe to be a final boss drop from AA (Warlock) and Hel-Ra (Syrabane), but you may also be able to get purple rings from the trash enemies in those trials.
The Lich set can also be difficult to get as it, again, only comes from dolmen bosses after either The Lich of Mournhold (Gedna Relvel) or the Seductive Sisters (Vika, Dylora, and Jansa) have been defeated. Defeating The Lich of Mournhold can cause the Robe and Crown of the Lich to drop from the chest. Defeating the Seductive Sisters can cause the Bracers of the Lich, Epaulets of the Lich, Dylor'as Staff, and Mask of the Darkest Seducer to drop from the chest.
These final dolmen items are just some cool extras that are popular vanity choices. Hood of the Voidguide can drop after The Traveling Dremora (Methats, Vonshala, and Sumeer) have been beaten and both anguish items have a chance of dropping once the torturers (Kathutet, Amkaos, and Ranyu) have been conquered.
Finally I'd like to tell any devs that may be reading how quite a few people enjoy collecting items. that is weird, that for such higher VR ranks it has pretty low stats - VR12 : 130 damage + 40 flame damage? WTH??
