can it be vr10 too(max level), not green as usualyl but blue?

Interesting @QuadroTony ,

I have never seen a blue one of those, except for the v12 rings, which may not even drop after 1.3.

Here are my thoughts on how it could be possible.

1. A potential drop from a dungeon boss, in the correct zone were unassailable drops, but form a boss, and by a v9 player. For example, you can get low level warlock items from deshan (ep faction), but can get blue ones from the areas dungeon bosses (normal darkshade, elden, and wayrest) and only at level 23 if the dungeon is scaled to that level.

2. A potential drop from the zone that drops unassailable, but by a v9 character who has the treasure hunter bonus unlocked (75 points in the shadow constellation).

3. A very, very, old item that dropped during 1.3, but the person who looted the drop was v9.

I'm sorry that I can't say exactly were such an item could come from, but I think my point number 2 is the most likely.

For your second question, you probably can get blue v10 with the treasure hunter bonus.

I think number 1 must be the most likely then, but I have no experience testing dungeon scaling in my v10 (unassailable) zone.

i found syrabane gloves, blue vr12 for 100 gold in one guild store
will keep it for the future

Master merchant have no data about price for this item, probably just rare, not so rare like rings tho

Hey @QuadroTony , those gloves are common on na.

The only other rare syrabane item that I know of, besides the v12 rings, are the v12 shoulders.

I would have to disagree, I run the thorn set on my healer, that paired with 5 piece healer makes my heals hit ridiculously hard. My breath of life crits for 23k health. No need to spam heals for me. Leaving me to dps while healing. Able to pull 18-23k dps on boss fights. Also, those sets don't only drop from v14 dungeons. If that was true only vcoa would drop it. But I'm pretty sure that they only drop from any vet dungeon. It's just a super rare ring. Because I know for sure that I've gotten rings from vet fungal, vet DC, vet SC and vet wayrest.

They are part of the quest at the Shada's Tear area. Not rare, and have absolutely no other use.

For some reason they seem not to drop as often as the other footman pieces.

Sort of like if we compared the warlock ring to the warlock neck.

This could be reality or it could just be people's perception.

what is their purpose? I don't remember having to use it as part of Shada's Tear.

Hey @QuadroTony , thanks for stopping by, it is really great to hear from you!

First of all, excellent job with the claw of the dragon trade. I'm not exactly sure why people use it, but it does at least have a niche roll as it is the highest level set with a 2 piece set bonus to get magic regeneration.

As far as your Stygian Dagger, I believe it can be purple OR blue from drops.

Why I can't confirm that is because I have never personally gotten any of these drops, but if they all follow the rules that the warlock and syrabane rings do, then they will be dropped at both qualities.

The vast majority of the time I find rare items in the blue, "likely to have been obtained from a trash mob," quality. This makes sense as we all know that ZOS wanted to incentivize people to fight trash enemies rather than skipping them back when they nerfd the drop rate of these items, and we all know that trash enemies drop their items such as warlock rings, in the blue quality.

Therefore, my Pavlov conditioning has been to focus in on the blue colored items when I am searching a guild store for one of these rare trial drops. I expect them to be blue, but sometimes I think they can be dropped in purple quality, and sometimes people upgrade the item quality before selling that item with the hopes that the quality upgrade will help them fetch a premium price.

I have come across 3 items that I believe might also be rare Dolmen drops, two of which are some of the most unique looking weapons I have seen in the game.



The Glut Twin-Tail Hat drops in Superior quallity from Dolmen chests after the Ogrim Brothers have been defeated.

Both of the Volar's Crescent items have a chance to drop in Superior quallity after defeating the Crescent Dremora. (I improved the staff myself to Legendary)

Both of the Crescent weapons have a unique style that is nothing like the icon which I have also taken screenshots of for people to see, I have not equipped the hat yet so I do not know if it follows the Crescent items with that.

IMO, one of the best looking weapons in the game.

If anyone wants me to see if the hat is also a special style I will equip it and post screenshots of that as well, and I do not know if these are actually rare from Dolmens but I haven't seen these items anywhere so I thought I'd share them.

Yup, I can confirm that all of the unassailable items were lootable at one point, as a v12 item, because I have one of each one. If anyone is reading who has a shield though, I could use a second one
