He's not wrong though. At least when we're talking about population imbalance. They only play in Chillrend to protect buffs. They should not be considered part of DC's PvP population because you will never get them to play in any other campaign that actually needs help, no matter how hard you try.

It's just frustrating. DC players in general need to be nicer to each other. Zone chat will be all fine and dandy and then suddenly turn into a hatefest over something stupid. I'm friends with several players who mostly play on Chillrend, and we've all been making an effort to get to know some of these PvErs in hopes that they'll want to join us in haderus or thorn for PvP. Hell, I did DSA and AA for the first time ever a few weeks ago. And I hate PvE.

About the zone chat thing and it turning hateful that some people have mention, have noticed that is mainly when the trolls show up that it does that, I have most of the trolls on ignore so haven't noticed it being hateful lately though can still tell when they are about.

DC was pop locked on two campaigns thorny and chilly around 8:30pm or 9pm est, they are just late to the game.. :)

You mean 90% locked was still able to shift between servers last night has needed without a wait, remember the lock symbol doesn't mean its locked it shows at 90%

They really need to change that so the lock symbol doesn't show up till its truly locked.

Well I dunno about NA but on EU at least we're having both AD and EP crushing us from two sides. Most people just leave at that point, you are fighting 100 people with 20 and just get rolled over completely.

If an Alliance isn't supposed to control the map/server, then why are there bonuses for having all the scrolls and keeps?
..And I just assumed it was because there was no casuals to farm AP from?

Seriously tho... I get what you are saying, I think it's narrow minded but, I get it.
Not every player who steps foot in cyrodiil is interested in no-life farming AP.
    That's not how it works.
Thousands of players love to pvp sometimes, some even most of the time, but very few all of the time (and I think you have sorted out amongst yourselves, that still play, who you are).
What is the motivation to aimlessly hop servers in an endless cycle to "help campaigns that need it"?
Although considered an abomination by the "all the time" players, at least buff campaigns serve a purpose. They deliver motivation, some reason to do something besides grinding gear. dungeons, and pointless never-ending two front zerg wars.

I've said it in other threads, until Imperial City is released (which now looks eons away) the standard "competitive" gameplay has gotten stale. ie Everyone fighting the same two battlefronts endlessly.
Invading and defending buff servers delivers a different type of gameplay.

Honestly tho I would have to concede that the old notion of buff servers is fading. It is now more of a 'How long can you hold it for'- type of thing , not a 'Same emperor for months'- type of thing

oh yh and the Emp farming ...(going to stop here b4 wall o'text gets any bigger) :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I'm less concerned with AP farming than I am with finding good, challenging fights. It's the only thing that makes PvP rewarding, for me at least. Idgaf about buffs or emp, but I will certainly help try to take the map if my faction decides to go for it.

DC are constantly just thrown about like rag dolls and are sadly like children with no one to tell them what to do (Besides a few very good players)

For the last few months they have been making some bad mistakes in PvP and have sadly paid for it. They have this knack of constantly attacking the wrong alliance at the wrong time consistently and then those factions get their revenge and trash them for days.

For example 2 weeks ago we had a DC scroll in in Faregyl and I was on all day. Ash was attacked twice in 8 hours Nikel maybe once but all day DC just pounded Bleakers/Chalman (Owned by EP). It amazes me. They should have been pushing on us.

As for example the other day when EP had Emp all the scrolls from every faction and finally DC got 3 bars they pushed south...for 2 hours straight. They Took Ash, they took Nikel and then Roe so while all of AD wanted to push Alessia/Sej we wanted our home keeps back and wasted 2 hours pushing blue back North.

Obviously Free Will comes into the equation but come on!!!

its often if we don't push ad from time to time, we get hit by both factions at the same time like earlier today. So a lot of DC often feel the need to hit AD at times, not always the best time but you know, no such thing has a foe of my foe is my friend on the grand scale of things it seems. :)

Right now I don't care who is emp or any of that all I care about is getting kills.

Maybe one day ill find a good pvp guild, I'm 100% a team player, granted I haven't really been looking either, so right now I'm just in it for myself and careless about the other stuff. That will change when I find a good guild, or just form one myself.

I do my best to support during keep sieges, heal, rez, watch the siege operators flanks and back. Just as long as were attacking someone, anyone, I'm cool with it :)

Well did hit a que time ion thornblade of 4 tonight, then one of 3 then nothing when I did my switches, those slight waits are like 50 seconds though odd, But we had a true lock for a very brief time! Like 40 mins. I expect it to return to normal no true lock the rest of the week.

For what it's worth, I am leveling my DC Breton Templar I created during early access but never played after I found out about the Cadwell Silver and Gold quests.

Got vampire and up to level 19. Went into blackwater and lol'd so hard. Stood in a resource tower and shot solar flare at half a raid and killed half of them before more DC showed up to finish the job off. I was like DKs why you no reflective scales? :D

I tried an Imperial stamina templar build a la Blood Knight but I hate bows, so didn't enjoy it. Resto + 1h magicka build, so fun. Might sub in a 2h over 1h though.
