cschwingeb14_ESO✭✭✭✭I love the way you guys are quoting damage numbers that are literally 2x what the template sorc gets in full wise mage great gets. Yeah, the set bonuses suck, but the enchants are top notch and it gets you roughly 20k magicka and 1200 spell damage. Maybe there is an issue with spell damage scaling... Or maybe you're quoting numbers that include might of the guild buff
But for the mines comment in particular:
Have you considered not walking on the mines that are fully visible, and take 3 seconds to arm? Or if you have to walk on them, blocking/shielding/healing appropriately before you do?
Mines are very predictable and avoidable damage. As such they need to do high damage, or they will be unused and a joke, just like they have been from 1.0 though 1.50
