Go read a article on game design and how realism should not be looked at in terms of real life and instead based on the world that is fake and has been created.

Boobs are fine, leaving them uncovered in a game where the armor "looks" as if it is protective is breaking the realism of the world they have designed, that has nothing to do with real world realism.

I completely agree realism should not be looked at in terms of real life. We're playing a game where a bare chested nord can take multiple strikes from a blade. Your specific aversion is simply inconsistent, and your "smut" comments are far more telling with your real concern of *clutches pearls* cleavage .

Not at all, you are locked on thinking I am doing this "for the children" because I think the game shouldnt show boobs when in all ways I am fine with boobs. I just think if nerds want to see boobs they should google them and not ruin the realism of TES armor design by demanding it be in the game.

You not knowing my intentions does not bother me, I couldnt care less. So once again refer to my sig, continue thinking I am just wanting the game to be kid friendly when really my intentions are to keep the game realistic to the theme of TES and its lore.

Your realism is no more applicable to the TES series than mine. Your inconsistencies are what I'm pointing out (especially in the presence of the costumes we have available/concept art for the undaunted heavy set). You're free to cherry pick your values all you want, it's just silly to do it under the guise of realism.

The Medium armor (female) is that nip rings above her girls or??

In any case mark me down as a fan of the OLD ORC armors and its lovely fur and chain mail. The male greaves change the look of the male body.

knock off the realism high horses back to discussing the armor try to focus more on the positives than starting troll feeding circles with the negatives. topic shouldn't need ZOS removing comments.

i prefer the boob window but it doesn't end my life if its gone so with that said get over it i prefer higher pixel count on armor than a lil cleavage sure i'd love a metal bikini and it wouldn't ruin my immersion in any way but probably wont see it and im fine with it. and there is no realism in this game you can argue how you want but its a fantasy game. magic monsters elves nothing is real here even if we're armed to the teeth its still fantasy stop bashing everyone who wants some skin for your own ego needs those who want will probably get eventually so expect skimpy armors eventually will come whether its cash shop or in game naturally it will probably come here if it breaks your immersion sorry but if skin sells it'll be here majority vs minority wants in all honesty the boob window on Orc was a happy medium it was full armor with a lil eye candy not a g-string.

How in the world did "trolling" get so over used and away from what it really means? Trolling is to act dumb to annoy other people. It does not mean to voice a honest opinion which is different to yours...
i prefer the boob window but it doesn't end my life

So your side is the side that is not trolling right?
sure i'd love a metal bikini and it wouldn't ruin my immersion in any way

Haha so that is in no way a break from the world they created in TES? This just proves you are more motivated by your right hand and opinions then the importance of keeping the game TES.

there is no realism in this game you can argue how you want but its a fantasy game. magic monsters elves nothing is real here even if we're armed to the teeth its still fantasy stop bashing everyone who wants some skin for your own ego needs

I hope you are trolling (Being dumb on purpose: if you have forgotten). I say this because you dont even understand a basic game design principle that in the world you create you must also create a realism to it. Thus putting in flying cars is unrealistic (a over exaggeration) but putting in spells that make you float is (realistic to that world).

If you dont understand this simple rule then read my sig and this conversation will go no further.
those who want will probably get eventually so expect skimpy armors eventually will come whether its cash shop or in game naturally it will probably come here if it breaks your immersion sorry but if skin sells it'll be here majority vs minority wants in all honesty the boob window on Orc was a happy medium it was full armor with a lil eye candy not a g-string.

This explains your view so clearly. Once again your right hand is more important that keeping the game healthy in terms of immersion and realism..

I would like to think the majority are wanting the game to stay true to TES and not turn to a skimpy mess catering to those who dont know how to use google to get off... Everyone knows that the way the games going it will end up a mess like this, with a sloppy crown store but that does not mean its a good thing...

You cant seem to understand something I said in the post before this. There is realism in games based on the laws set in the created world. Go back into my post and read the part about the flying cars.

If you STILL dont get it after that, Read my sig, fail to understand that as well and then stop talking to me.

you seem to have an obsession with that sig reading earlier posts...

just seems you want everything to be men in armor rather than true realism not every person in realism wore armor. the eso series was never founded with with an extreme take on realism if you remember the series started as a fantasy busty thong mail kinda (bad graphics aside)game that sorta changed over time for whatever reason. and the big kicker of this compared to the previous ES games is this is an mmo sex sells can argue about a sig or realism all ya want but majority players have stated what they want. so you can move along to another topic your point has been made and everyone majority disagrees etc. doesn't matter if i use my hand for what i want if i wanna run around as a semi topless warrior im gonna do it if it i want. and im darn sure when wedding dress comes out im gonna be a male orc wearing it and swinging a giant maul and looking frilly and fine while doing it whether it breaks immersion or realism doesn't matter. maybe im an orc that escaped from shivering isles nut house. maybe my semi topless Templar has fear of shirts that makes her believe boobs deflect arrows. if you worry about a lil skin breaking your realism driven life then don't play or find armor that covers and leave others to their own devices even if the device is their hand....

really? your best response is to attack grammar?... we're done here.

No I am not attacking grammar, I am refusing to read something so poorly written when I know it is filled with nonsense. You struggle to understand a core game design principle.

"Be realistic within the parameters of you world"

A flying car in a game set in 2998 is realistic in that "designed" world. It is not however realistic in real life.

At its core: Something in a game does not have to be realistic in the real world but instead not break any realism in the parameters of the world that it has been designed for.

Do you understand now?... This is as simple as I can make it, a child could understand.

And yes, if you dont understand please refer to my signature and shut up. If you fail to understand the signature then also shut up. The opinion you hold is so dumb.
Yes, moderator this is bordering rule breaking.. I have refrained from personal attacks and call his opinion dumb not him, himself.

So then why is skin such an issue for you? If you wanna chat realism i'd be more uptight on the mechanics of the game. like a single man in craglorn taking on a raiding party or bandits running through lava and not melting those would be bigger issues in realism than a *** or a belly showing. Sure they'll get ya killed but there is a limit to how real you can make a game before its bland and boring. that's the part i defend, the armor is least concern on my list of realism this game needs.

Honestly with daedric princes and gods running everything i wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of daedric skin resists fatal logic curse on the world. it sure as hell wouldn't be that far out there.

I never said anything about the game mechanics, only you suggest I am ok with that.

What you are saying is because there are other issues, all issues involving immersion are pointless....

That's dumb. Just because there may or may not be issues with immersion else where in the game does not mean it should be broken in other places even in small amounts... That IS common sense.

This "boob window" discussion really makes me wonder for what game that trailer was or from which game that picture on the top left on every site here was taken :D

But again, I don't care if there is a window or not, I only disapprove of changing existing and already crafted/upgraded armor looks.

I don't understand the change for the redguard light armor. It was the best looking light armor in the game in my opinion, I carried a light robe and headpiece to wear in the desert just because they looked so great. Now they look so...plain. sigh...

REDGUARD LIGHT ARMOR IS NO GOOD. The helmet of the previous light armor was one of the coolest in the game. It was almost Arabic and gave such a cultural element to the redguards wardrobe. PLEASE revise your decision or at the very least switch the helm to include a mouth cover!!

    Thank you
