Will dk dps even be viable anymore?

    The only issue i see is unstable flames being stamina wise meaning we need weapon crit and so on to use it, wont be any different cause crushing shock was weapon based so it's like a trade, now crushing shock does magika and unstable does weapon.

    Any DK who thinks the 1.6 changes are good for their DPS needs to run a vet dungeon. Once you see how much slower it is to gain Ultimate points to purchase the only good end game Ultimate skill (that now costs 25% more), you will hate what they have done. The skill changes and the cost change are manageable. The way Ultimate is charged is nothing more than ZOS taking a wrecking ball to the class.

    There are other good options with a lot of synergy with dk abilities.

    Everyone has this issue. How do you think nightblade feel?

    Things are just different now. Just give it some time and the DK leaders and theory crafters will sort it out and let us in on the loop. One of the good things about our class is we have a supportive community out there helping us get the best out of our class.

    DK's got to play as gods for 10 months that's a pretty good run, seems now they will be on par with mere mortals now. It could seem scary at first but I imagine it will not be that bad
    Correction one build got to play as a god. and it had nothing to do with the damn class it was the combo of light armor aoe spamming to build ultimate and constantly drop it. Heavy wearing DK tank builds in PVE had one purpose and that it. In all honesty this game is still vastly broken , its game mechanics are purely built around DPS. I agree some balancing needed to be done . this is what happens when a game trys to balance around PVP then scale the content to the lack luster class mechanics.

    Watch , the next few months will be horrid as people struggle to change their play style and builds to fit to the new game. I dont PVP much so admittedly i dont feel the frustration of it. But n all honesty in PVE its one build with one set of armor that produces. Likely the end game content will not be accomplished with out the DPS a DK provides Good luck with your new game.
