Oh it definitely needs a buff. Keep in mind my killing spree was in a VR9 area and I'm VR14 so killing things quickly wasn't exactly a problem.

Is where I posted my feedback on the matter along with some suggestions to enhancing the WW in PVP.
Incidentally I feel that some way to handle constant stuns and roots are the biggest obstcle to making it truly effective and desirable as an ultimate in PVP. Basically giving it the same effects as immovable or having one of the howls provide a bonus similar to retreating maneuvers would alleviate the largest issue my pack and I complain about.
No i think you missed my point entirely, what you get for 300 ult is not worth it, not in terms of PvP. don't call me a "power gamer eek" as i am clearly not or i certainly wouldn't have been using heavy armour and werewolf since release now would i?
Blood rage was the best thing about WW, that is the sad truth.
Good to hear. I expected that with that change to the passive this would be the case. I still think WW form needs a slight buff to actually be worth using your ultimate for it, but this ability to have an extended killing spree, even if it doesn't make WW form really competitive, at least increases the "hey, this lycanthropic slaughter is fun" factor. Then once transformed i managed a good 3 minute killing spree without use of the pounce morph that adds time, or any other wolves to add time with heavy attacks. Just devouring, and getting smacked kept me going until I ran out of beetles and jackals to murder.

I was running a delve in Malabar Tor... Picked a couple chests... so those both eat half the transform in one sitting. And still ended up having to cancel out of the transform manually. (Because I needed to use persuade in dialog with a quest target.) Now, that was with devour and the morphed pounce. But, I was rarely in danger of turning back, except immediately after picking a chest.
The weird thing, at least for a M5/L1/H1, 2h/bow Nightblade, my survivability is a lot higher in wolf form. I don't know if that's because the single piece of light armor I have equipped is tanking all my damage mitigation, if medium armor was really hit that hard with the nerf bat, or if it's because I forgot to do something when buying back my skills and just don't have an optimized build on PTS.
