✭IMHO the PTS will get 1.6 either Thursday 1/15/15 (most likely not IMO) or Monday 1/19/15 (More likely) as the next ESO Live is on 1/16/15 and they will most likely announce it friday that the PTS patch will drop the following monday.. They might Address other things (like the B2P rumors and a possible date for the Console) on the ESO live show as well..
Then in a Month around February 16th, give or take then the 1.6 patch will drop on live then in like 2-3 weeks later the rest of the bugs will be fixed..
and then we get 1.7 in 6 weeks, give or take Around that time, which will remove VR ranks (and adjust item / gear power levels), the PvP aspect of the Justice system and possibly add Imperial City to Cyrodiil.. that will be like the end of March sometime..
then 1.8 will be most likely the Thieves guild and the Dark Brotherhood and maybe Wrothgar.. month of May.
1.9 SpellCrafting, etc... Month of June.

Well my opinion as follow. I can't help but feel that ZOS has finally lost me with this game. They came out of the gate running and sticking to their words on monthly bite-size updates that adds content to the game world in order to justify our 15 dollars. However, slowly over time ZOS and their updates have went to 1.5 months, then 2 months, and now 3 months if not more! I hope you all realize that you're not getting 1.6 in FEB, let alone first week of FEB as stated by ZOS, lest they release 1.6 without really any testing. I'm not getting my value worth for the sub anymore and it upsets me. I guess we can only hope for 1 new zone or none per year with how things are looking now. ZOS should have left well enough alone and focus on game content such as storytelling and future land zones ect... ZOS could have split this patch up into smaller patches and got it out faster to at least kept up with their 1 month updates. oh well my opinion of course.Edited by Ethona on January 19, 2015 4:47PM4 -

I haven't had fun playing this game in over a month. The content is old and tired and the mechanics are a joke, i.e. block casting, limited useful builds, etc. I'm fairly certain they will never fix Cyrodiil, or release a reasonably working update. I played Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim for years. Each iteration was an improvement on graphics, physics, and AI. I never thought I would be bored of an Elder Scrolls game in under a year. At this point I find it to be a mediocre MMO and a sad imitation of a TES game. I really hope 6 changes this.
I agree. Form the last 40 days of my sub it will be just be the forum and waiting for the PTS.

✭well, I thought they would announce stuff (1.6, B2P rumors, etc) on the ESO Live show but they did nothing of the sort. This upset me and more than a few people.

I think what bugs me the most about hearing this over and over, is that you don't say, "we're still targeting this month". Instead you say, "we're still targeting January". Every time you say, 'January' it eludes to the fact that it may not be 'January'. I mean this month has 12 days left - that's basically saying you guys can't find a date within 12 days that it will be on the PTS.
I don't mean to come across as rude - but people aren't stupid. A lot of us put up with the fact that ZOS seems to leave their words open for interpretation or elude to other things such as release dates, and such. It is the internet, but a large majority of the population spends time on here - gamers even more so.
I'm not trying to tell you how to do your job or anything, but a really simple, "We don't have a day set, but it will be sometime towards the end of this month." would suffice. But instead we get our hopes up because no one at ZOS wants to be honest with the community.
If it's not ready, then just say it's not ready - don't put up a front and make people wait. That doesn't resonate well with anyone and it eventually leads to people feeling like they've been ripped off.

Whether or not it fits their message, ZOS needs to address the free to play rumors, we need some insight with what is going on with update 6 either be it through clearly labeled "work in progress" patch notes. I'm okay with the fact some of the details might change between PTS and Live, but it would be nice to start taking stock of what is changing.
I'm not a fan of tiny content additions every four to six weeks, the content always feels lackluster and in most cases the content is immediately consumed within a few hours. 3 things that is hurting ZOS ...
1. Poor Communication to me this the most frustrating...
2. Bad implimentation... For example this patch is way to big still would like an answer why all of this is in one patch...Another is the Lighting update in June was a complete fail destroyed 50% of the PvP population... Also every patch has broke something... Little to no use of the player test server...
3. Slow response to op abilities and broken abilities... The biggest fail was bats at release 1 person that essentually make him self unkillable because bats was up all the time and could also cast multiple bats.... This took 3 to 4 weeks to fix and 2 weeks for ZOS to even comment on it.... Also can you say dark cloak how long was that broke? Lol still probally broke...PVP DEADWAIT
