I sorry, did you say Addon support? What support? ZOS breaks most addons every time they release a major patch.
Don't make me go back to the stupid quickslot wheel,I couldn't handle it. And when I see screenshots of people that still have the default health/magicka/stamina bars I honestly wonder how they live like that.

Take a look at that poll again. Only 36% said they would unsubscribe over it. The vast majority would keep on playing without the addons.

I use one add-on and that's simply because I want to see my players experience bar and how close I am to leveling up, I don't care if that goes away. It's just more convenient for me. How simply removing add-ons causes people to quit is totally beyond me

No one really thinks add-ons are going to be banned, at least I hope they don't. The point of the thread was to get some insight into how we feel about add-ons, and a broad gauge of percentage of players using them. I'd say 'mission accomplished".dwemer_paleologist wrote: »even tho i HATE add-ons in an mmo, and i wish they were Not in eso.
i Highly doubt zenimax is going to Ban any add-ons, you guys have nothing to worry about in that dept.

Edit: sorry about my pointless post.

However, other addons like Roomba (guildbank stacker), BytheNineNotify (to stop the stupid notifications of xxx player I dont care abt in trade guilds) Shopkeeper (to tell me what item I sold in which of 4 trade guilds).....a few others have absolutely nothing to do with your (I hate addons so I'm gonna troll) reasons, as much as they do fixing the abject laziness on the part of ZOS to provide a functional interface/game for those that don't have all day to sit doing all the things they are for and actually wish to play.
Technically, I'm okay with that too. I still have my research sheet I started in April. But it's the kind of thing I expect to see as an option in the game. I could draw my own map too, but I do I really want to...?

How do you keep track of known traits without going to a crafting place?
Or people who like see a few more things on their screen but whatever...It wouldn't affect me in the slightest. I've done everything in this game up to and including end game content without a single addon. Those who rely on them are the elitist min/maxers, terribads who can't play otherwise, or players wishing this was the other MMO they used to play.

I am not sure as I am not home but I think it is something like Harvens Crafting Styles or something like that. Any item in your inventory shows its style and whether it is researched, researchable or currently being researched.
But to know everything including what my alts need I have to reach for my trusty piece of paper.

A big sheet of paper with a grid. Really quite easy. For me top row is wood. Second metal weapons. Third light armour. Fourth medium and last heavy. Eight colums under each row for each trait. Then when I research something I just add a shorthand letter for the character.
So when Odette Skullcrusher learns precice bow I go to row one, colum one and put an O in the box. When she learns divines heavy girdly I go to row five colum eight and put an O there.
Not sure if this is what you were asking but that is how I do it to track FIVE (I am mad never do this!) crafting characters.

I LOL'd you because it made me laugh, not because I'm mocking you. Could you please link some of the must have addons?

Or people like me who enjoy banking in under 10 seconds instead of it taking several minutes, or being able to see what I've sold and in which guild store it sold easily. It could be people like me who due to the fact that I play on a smaller screen, enjoy being able to move and resize my HUD. It could be people like me who cannot physically perform a few of the keyboard commands required by the game and the addons make the game actually playable. It could be people like me who enjoy the ease of knowing which traits I have and recipes I've learned without needing to write them down or make a spreadsheet.
Gosh...what a min/maxer or terribad I am. I wish I could be as cool as elitist snobs who look down on everyone who uses an addon.
