Naming my characters (especially the Elven ones in LotRO) sometimes takes me longer than designing what they look like.
Not enforce, just make it easier to select for people who don't know.MornaBaine wrote: »I use actual Breton names for my Breton characters, Romanesque names for my Imperials and Middle Eastern names for my Red Guards. However I do maintain that we should never force lore appropriate names on people. Why? Because if your name is Surprize Buttsecz I know to avoid you like the revolting plague you are. Thank you for carrying an "I'm stupid" sign so I never accidentally waste my time attempting to interact with you in any way.

Wenxue (Redguard) (my ES character since Daggerfall)
Azizom (Breton) (Farsi word for dearest - relevant to a song I like)
Rosiebelle (Orc) (named after one of my LOTRO characters)
Hodorf (Nord - Male - named after one of my LOTRO characters)
Luckee (Khajiit) (intended to be a thief eventually)
Skybright (Khajiit) (character from my favourite book)
Nommie (Bosmer) (wanted Bitey but it was taken)
Santie Claws (Khajiit) (Intended for seasonal mischief and gifting)

This is hilarious. Forum moderation, perhaps you should look into in-game names as well?ThatHappyCat wrote: »I've seen an Argonian named "[snip]-In-Shadows". I suppose that's technically lore-appropriate.
