This basically. FFS stop telling us to reboot the game/pc or more of that stuff to "fix" the problem. Nothing is more demotivating than having to reboot your pc while you are in an awsome battle and it should not be our job to go through all that bs. I am having serious, SERIOUS doubts about if you guys actually play your own game. Everyone has lag, everyone! With respect, please do not tell us to restart our computers and routers as if we are 6 years old. This is a server side issue. We all get this lag at the same time in Cyrodiil, it's easy to tell because zone chat explodes with angry players wondering why they still pay to play for game in this state(PvP).
Not only that, but server crashes and scrollbacks as they have become known as it's so common now. We get this on a daily basis and largely when the server is at medium to high pops. It only takes a couple of groups to stack up and your server takes a massive dump. The ping can reach 999! I am on EU, we have people from all across Europe and countries outside of Europe playing on Thornblade, are you seriously suggesting the lag and performance issues we all experience at the exact same time is down to our computers/ISP? No, it is on your end and has only gotten worse over recent patches.
Some of the major issues are performance and latency lag. Sound effects stop playing, graphical animations stop working and do not recover even after the lag/performance has recovered causing us to relog each time. PvP has some major issues. I logged off last night because of the insane lag on EU Thornblade and decided to watch a stream by a guy called Defatank on Twitch TV. At the time he happened to be in PvP on the NA server and guess what? he was experiencing the exact same issues i just had on the EU server. This is a problem both mega servers experience when it comes to PvP.

All areas, empty PvE zones and packed cyrodill, both the same
•Are you connecting to the Internet through a wired or wireless connection? wried
•Are you using a Firewall or Antivirus software, if so what are the program names? Norton 360
•Have you tried using another computer at the location?
No - no other computer to try
•Do you have any other programs running in the background (streaming, downloading, etc.) during the times you're experiencing connectivity issues?
nothing - I made sure nothing else is running except windows, removed all addons as well

It was latency.ZOS_LenaicR wrote: »Thanks for your report @Magdalina, sorry to hear about this issue while you were in dungeon. When stating "freezing", was it latency or stuttering for you?
Latency: Nothing is moving in the world but your FPS is fine
Stuttering: the World is okay but you have really low FPS
Feel free to provide us with the information requested above so we can create a ticket for investigations. Do you remember the date and time when it happenned?

Thank you for your understanding and patience while we're investigating further the latencies you are experiencing.
Sorry, what's that? You're a bit muffled...

Cyrodiil lags every night in the NA server. This has got absolutely nothing to do with user internet connection etc and everything to do with the server.
I'd suggest that the euro servers have not had the same amount of investment as the NA ones as they dont seem to have these problems as often.
