In order to get this resolved as quickly as possible, we ask that anyone encountering this issue please submit a Game Consultant file and host.developer file to our Support Team.

Step-by-step video instructions for using the ESO Game Consultant can be found here (if you prefer written instructions, visit this article in our knowledge base).

Instructions for finding your host.developer file are available here.

Once you've created the report.txt file from the Game Consultant and located your host.developer file, head over to our support page to submit a ticket.

Describe the issue you're encountering, and under the Attach Documents section, click Choose File to attach both your Game Consultant and host.developer files (you'll need to attach them one at a time, but you will be able to attach both files to the same ticket).

Thank you in advance for providing these, as the information provided in them will help immensely to resolve this issue.

Note: For your security, please do not provide these files on the forums.

Trion was worse, that's a fact.. But ArcheAge is also partially f2p, so in a way it's more easy to forgive that kinda stuff.

This game costs a -lot- for these things to occur..

Some people paid more for ArcheAge in one swoop buying a founders pack, not finding land, having the game removed from Steam and so on. Trion is a bunch of thieves and their game is doing horribly. What I find hysterical are the claims to ArcheAge being some amazing game that people are so sure of and now it is suffering horrendously. People are complaining very much of things that would not go on if the game were NOT F2P.

ESO has issues sure, but if you've played other MMOs the first year, you'd realize they are many times (not always, but often enough) much worse off than ESO seems to be. ArcheAge is a good example of that.

Yeah I know, just clearing that up incase someone wanders in and says "F THIS waiting for fixes --- I'm going where everything is peachy!!" Then makes a huge mistake :grinning:

Don't get me wrong, there are some okay things about the game but ouch.. at least ZOS does literally work hard on things, Trion doesn't seem to give a crap and bots, bots, BOTS... they ban them and many players in the process of trying to get the bots.

That is why a subscription is a beautiful thing, it's more manageable. ESO no longer has that infestation it had when the game launched, due to it being so manageable and we actually got to see GMs run over with real "ban hammers" and smack the bots with it as they exploded and were banned. Ahh the epicness, gives ZOS a bro-nod you're all right.. you're all right

@ViciousWayz Ahah, nope, that would be a huge mistake :p Reason I was freaking out over this issue is because my guild and myself quit ArcheAge (due to the complete lack of any proper CS, among other things such as what you all mentioned) and we came here, and then I buy the game and it doesn't work. I was like "Seriously?" xD

ahhh, I see.. well, Welcome! The game usually does work, this is the first major issue like this and it only affected EU (I'm on NA). Not that it is a good thing, it's not.. however ZOS replies as seen above and will fix it so it will certainly make up for itself.

Also you'll find yourself MOSTLY free of botters/spammers which is a wonderful thing these days that I'd pay 2x the monthly fee for. LOL

Thanks, hehe :D It's okay, I mean, they're fixing it now ^^ What mostly annoyed me was that we just didn't get any proper "we're on it" response, y'know?

Yeah, while ZOS is a very big company sometimes they don't reply right away, they don't ignore major issues such as this that's for sure. Not being able to play the game due to something on their end is about as priority as it can get for them lol.

And yeah, I know they are all over AA and pretty much all F2P these days but AA had it bad. We did have more botters/gold spammers here around launch but I guess it became "not worth it" to them at some point to keep paying for game/account and all the other limitations ZOS put into ESO to make it unattractive for a botter to be here ---- not to mention the community in general would not go and buy gold (in general) as this is a very particular bunch of Elder Scrolls fans (many, not all of course) that botters are not prepared for LOL.

We will spend 1 hour sitting there reporting them all just because F THEM... that's how we roll here. We protect our turf!

But literally, GMs from ZOS came in and hit them with "hammers" which made them explode and banned them all at once. It was beautiful :grinning:

Hopefully we don't need to wait until the next EU patch and that this is simply re-uploading the EU client resources & forcing a cache purge on their CDN.

Compensation of lost game time due to issues like this are dealt with on an individual basis. When contacting our Support Team with your host.developer and Game Consultant files (for those who haven't done so), feel free to mention the day you first encountered this issue so that an agent can look into providing you with compensatory game time. If you've already been in contact with an agent, you can follow up in the same ticket to discuss compensation for lost game time.
