    Patch on EU server meant we couldn't log into the game, they had to figure out how to make the updater take an antipatch to restore it back to 1.5.2.

    ZOS accidentally pushed update 1.5.3 to the launcher for people playing on the EU server. Anyone that installed 1.5.3 could not log in because the server was expecting them to have 1.5.2 installed. ZOS had to make a patch to roll people back to 1.5.2

    Ok, I admit :astonished: I don't know what the correct term for a patch that undoes another patch is :sweat_smile: , but Antipatch does cover it, so feel free to use it :sunglasses:

    Trying to fix by running the instructions for error 209 does not work , its now reinstalling the game , its taken 90 minutes to do 5% so rest of the day and night before I can play. Funny thing is my crappy laptop is not affected

    My sympathies, I got it to work for me by turning the computer off, when I turned it back on the updater took the fix.

    But to have to reload it, including the huge update last week, ouch.

    ok so this is only pertaining to the eu server then i guess is ok for me to go play eso.

    What i find a sad thing is simply said it took ESO 5 hours to post something about the error , which resulted in my game patcher having rebooted itself and now is downloading the game to reinstall it . Which at the speed of the server is taking forever , Thank you eso for ruining my sunday

    Copy the files from your laptop to your desktop then?

    Called rollback.
    However for MMO this also is resetting to an earlier state, think autoload an save in Skyrim, however here its your caracter who is reset, typical to before you killed the quest boss :)




    Grinding just make you go in circles.
