Bugged "Fighting Back" Quest

I just talked to Madras Tedas in the Fighting Back quest and told him I would help and get them weapons. However, I seem to no longer have the quest chain. It is not showing in my quest log and I cannot find anyone or anything in game that lets me continue the quest chain. I should have A Timely Manner now, right?

I had to abandon the Fighting Back quest once and start it over because I chose to not let the peasants fight at first and didn't like that they wouldn't let me help them. Would this cause the error? I ran the quest with another of my characters a few days ago and it was fine.

    Hey there @twiggzzler,

If you abandoned the quest, you'll need to pick it up from the original bestowal location again. The quest giver is Varon Davel, and he is located in the Hlaalu House in Narsis. Let us know if this helps!

I abandoned and ran through it again and it seemed to work fine this time. Not sure what caused this issue. Thanks!

I know this is an old thread but I have issues with the quest as well, I've turned in 'fighting back' and now cant back into the tedas house to pick up 'a timely matter' the house is greyed out but I have seen others coming and going.
