1.5 ESO is balanced?

Seriously? From a pvp standpoint, right now at this moment, imho feels balanced. How do things feel from a pve perspective?

I would say that still from a PvE perspective there is still a lack of balance simply due to the amount of damage certain specs / classes are able to do compared to others.

It has gotten better from the first day of trials and such when all you would see is DK and Sorcs, but still has some work to do.

Also simply enough the skill difference between certain play styles such as "mages" vs "stam users" is a bit off.

Overall though Balance is getting better.

My main is a Nord DK Vamp. If you are up against me, or a similar build, you'd better hope I run out of pots and Magicka for GDB, that is after I reflect or block 90% of your attacks, drain you, CC you, and unleash back to back Devouring Swarms.

PvE at Vet but not vr14 - the balance has 2 light books on the player side and 2 blue whales on the other, until they fix the XP & skill XP ...

After the debacle that was early release, I've stayed away from PvP. I'm sorry, but the scheme used to level players regardles of level didn't work when there was a five point difference in level; how am I supposed to be convinced that it now works with 30+ levels in difference?

Sorry, ZOS, I have no confidence in your ability to use MSExcel...

From a PvE perspective, my impression is that "balance" is still done from a DPS perspective. Healers and tanks are still screwed... which probably means that the devs are playing DPS classes (which is typical).

hehe balanced. Is that why everyones running staff magicka builds with light armor and vampirsim? Also nightblade is total crap and their only good skill that makes them dissapear for 2.5-3sec is buggy and doesn't work right even after the fixes. Heavy armor is also crap and needs some boost; it works in pve but in pvp they tear right through it and it's cons outweighs the pros. Active targeting where an object collides with targets instead of locking on as soon as it is casted would balance everything out but there is a post on that already and people are content on tab targeting because it's easier and requies barely any skill and just having the right build to win. Not that it would ever be implemented anyways because all the QQ that would happen.

From A PVE perspective, too early to say, but my Nightblade feels stronger, I just need to test out my DK, My Sorc and my Templar.

At a guess, they will probably be more balanced, but we will still view them as out of sync with each other.

I do not recall any mmo's I have played to be balanced. Anyone have examples of a "balanced" mmo? I do agree with others about pvp in ESO and the lack of balance.

Those complaining about magicka users being too strong probably haven't played the game this week, since they are dead wrong. Apparently, the new balance problem is that bow is OP now.

As someone who has all four classes to VR14.... you sound like a one-trick pony. Just saying. Also CC/Devouring Sward? LMAO Now imagine a non-Vamp DK walks into you oozing all that fire....... go back to the drawing board.


Now on topic, it does feel pretty balanced in general. I still think the Expert Hunter change was unnecessary but it has no negative effect on me since I cured Vamp a while ago. I just disagree with it.

Other than that, things seem pretty good. I love some of the weapon changes and how you can basically run any dungeon with the enemies being VR12! That's awesome.

There is a very great imbalance in the force of crappy players, decent players and really good players. ZOS has done a lot to reduce that imbalance but they are just not there yet. Expect more nurfs, more gutted playstyles and never ever ending whines.

Of course that doesn't mean that I am not strongly in favor of completely removing bows and the account termination of anyone that has a bow build at the moment.

What is this "Balance" you speak of? Everyone is born equal, but what they do after that affects their strengths and weaknesses. Why do people think a Magic User should be equal to a sneaky stealthy rogue? Why should someone wearing cloth be equal to someone wearing Steel? I find the whole concept laughable. This is why grouping in MMO's has all but died. With all things being equal, who needs to group with someone else?

Nah man I'm speaking a each class and or resource having the tools to get the job done. ESO had skills built correctly from the start. Their values were all off though. Things are looking much better now.
