Fresh characters now start out in (almost) full armour - am I the only one who doesn't like this?

Imryll✭✭✭✭✭So glad you reverted this change! Finding armor in the Wailing Prison, is more fun, as well as more realistic. Not to mention that it avoids reinforcing new players' initial impression that certain classes are "supposed" to wear certain styles of armor.2 -

They are Lore-philes. They will not like ESO since it has a separate lore from the rest of Elder Scrolls, yet close enough to make people think they are the same Lore.

TES lore has always depended on the point of view of its source, whether an NPC or the author of an in-game book. ESO provides additional sources and allows us to observe a different time period for ourselves, but changes nothing fundamental. The negative feedback on the starting areas by Shoddy and Angry Joe had nothing to do with lore. Unfortunately, the game is weaker for their mouthings.
