3- No your right, they do. I dont think there is any way to stop people using it. Even if all the raid guilds enforce banning them during pvp, theres still going to be random people using it regardless.

When it comes to Thornblade, you are actually a 'random'. Maybe you need to create a special Haderus thread to help you feed your ego, since the Thornblade thread doesn't seem like the right place.

When it comes to Thornblade, he is indeed a random. But, since he seems in such need of recognition for his awesome feats, I created a EU-Haderus thread.

I could play Thorn for 30 mins and make more of a difference than you do in a lifetime of play. It's pretty laughable the mouth on you considering you ran off from a 2v1 when you saw the DK going down, It actually was a 3v1 but the scrub i killed in the beginning doesnt really count.

If we are talking recognition, You can weigh up what we've both accomplished ingame. I'll give a clue though the only ones who know who you are, Are the ones that check the Official forums

Whenever you're having a good 1vX or your group is struggling vs a larger amount of foes, there's always that sneaky dude coming in to fear every 6 seconds, and that sets up a meatbag on that hill just to *** you off. And don't bother chasing him he'll cloak away and place another meatbag a bit further on

I have asked my raid not 2 use spells in EDC raids such as meteor which imo are being exploited to be able to use multiple times during lag... COUGH COUGH PROSSKI, You know what you did hahahaha !!! and to my knowledge we were running none. I dont like or enjoy the lag and I hate it even more when 20 meteors are being spammed per second!

Having been a DC player involved in 2 recent Roe lag-fests with yellows and the Chalman red one a couple of nights ago I was being targeted with many meteors so clearly even if some DC players are using it they were not all coming from DC.

Naming and shaming is obviously wrong but when you have the same groups hugging the flags spamming meteors and taking almost no damage while they try to flip our keeps without actually playing the game it's difficult to draw any conclusion except that they can only 'win' by exploiting the current weaknesses in the game engine.

If it was wasting population slots for someone who might want to defend the scrolls I would agree with them, but this was 3 at night with medium population. The alternative is that those of us who don't really care about the scores log off and go to bed instead of keeping the yellows away, because that's much more enjoyable than being ran over by the red night train doing their regular business.

All I can *know* is that my guild made a conscious choice not to use meteor spamming but that we are often on the receiving end of it - justifying your own use of it by saying that everyone else does it is a lazy excuse for poor behaviour.

I rage quit tb yesterday while fighting the yellow superlagtrain for the 2nd time. After the 3-way lag train fight at Aleswell, where the blues, reds and yellows where all stacking and spamming AOE and meteors in all directions. Was like half an hour of nothing happening while the yellows tried to flip the flags without actually killing anyone.

Do they understand that they themselves are the reason we have lag? And I'm sure they're sitting at home complaining about it too.

I don't recall being killed by scrubs in 1.5 In 1.6 though... I feel like the total scrublet... But you'll never see my dk switching to stamina!

Shows nothing but a bunch of bananas standing in a corner spamming AOEs, I didn't claim anything else. And simultaneously a bunch of DC standing on the flag spamming AOEs and a bunch of EP on the other flag spamming AOEs - and some EP on the stairs spamming meteors.

Idgaf what faction is to blame for anything, but each and every person doing this crap is ruining the game - meanwhile complaining that the game is unplayable. Maybe the game wasn't intended to be a group hug simulator?

Faction, guild, zenimax.. whatever - everyone is to blame for it. Zeni for poor performance, certain guilds & players for abusing it and making it that much worse than it really is. If people in this fight weren't AOE spamming and meteor spamming - it would have been pretty smooth.

It is quite clear that a large portion of the PvP population isn't interested in actually fighting anyone, and would rather continue lagballing and flipping flags through sheer numbers instead.

I'm not even going to go into how *** it is to blame a faction for the lag. Just.. wow.

It's not like Meteor spamming is the end all be all of lag, this exact same thing (no one takes damage, skills don't work, etc.) has always happened when groups of players get scared and ball up like little kiddies in need of someone to hug them. Way before anyone ever used Meteor.

And no.. I'm not delusional, I know this will never end and the meta won't change and everyone will do it because someone else did it. I just don't want people to go around thinking they're not to blame, because they are. You can't justify your own actions by pointing a bigger finger at someone else.
