Hey ZOS. I'm still here and still just waiting with an open wallet for you to authorize race change purchases. Take my 20$, take it! There is money on the table waiting for you to scoop up. You might as well implement this sooner rather than later because the longer you wait, the more people that are unhappy about their race choice will choose to quit instead of reroll.
I'm not saying you're a gold digger ZOS, but you aren't messing with any broke Bosmers. It's our money and we want to be Altmers or Dunmers NOW.
Equipment choices, glyph choices, trait choices, and skill choices can overcome or negate any racial issues.

This is simply incorrect, because each choice you make to compensate entails an opportunity cost in giving up something else.Equipment choices, glyph choices, trait choices, and skill choices can overcome or negate any racial issues.

Please enlighten me as to how my Khajit Sorc (tried melee builds but had to settle on the standard magicka build) can make up 260 magicka, 12 magicka regen and 4% flat bonus to damage that I would have if I was an Altmer.
I'm currently receiving a big fat zero from my Khajit racials. Don't need health regen because I got heals going. Don't need sneak bonuses because I don't sneak. Don't need physical crit either!
So you add a fire resist glyph so you can match that Dunmer's fire resist? Well now you just lost a glyph slot for 14 spell damage.
So that Dunmer will either have an advantage in fire resist over you, or he will have an advantage of 14 spell damage. Pick your poison.
No, because if you pick the fire resist glyph, then he has the advantage of an additional glyph slot over you, and now he will use that glyph slot to increase his spell damage more than what your spell damage is.If you pick the fire resist glyph, then you will be alive longer to hurl more spells at them, hence you negate the extra spell damage. Poison picked.
If this were the case, the blame lies with ZOS for failing to balance the racials, not with the players simply trying to get the most out of their characters. So the game will be populated with Dunmer, Altmer and Imperials?
No, because if you pick the fire resist glyph, then he has the advantage of an additional glyph slot over you, and now he will use that glyph slot to increase his spell damage more than what your spell damage is.
No, he's not paying for an in-game advantage. He is paying to remove an in-game disadvantage. He is not gaining any advantage over what players already have. You are also willing to pay real life cash for this change; in other words, you are willing to pay real life cash for an in-game advantage.....
I don't know why but the OP's name sounds......familiar.
But regardless, I oppose anything that sounds like pay to win in any shape or form, even something like a race change.
You want to change race purely because of passives, passives that you claim are strong enough to make a difference in your game performance. You are also willing to pay real life cash for this change; in other words, you are willing to pay real life cash for an in-game advantage.....
I am opposed purely for the principle for which you request to have a change. Now if it were purely cosmetic on the other hand, I would say go ahead and pay the 20 bucks, more power to you for wanting to perfect the aesthetic look of your character. But for passives?
when I could have easily picked the same race I want to change to at character creation

If you have Health Regen, then why do you have Heals going? You can do something else with your resources. Or, you can do what the rest of us have done with builds that are not working out the way you wanted them to. Respec or Reroll. I took my NB out of HA and Two Handed into MA and DW and he is doing just fine now. Before he could not survive anything.

No, not even close to 20 hp every second.

30% health regen is like what .... 20 hp every second? Not nearly as powerful as my heals so I will stick to them, thanks. You really can't lump together Respec and Reroll either. I don't need to respec because I have something like 270 skill points. I went from medium armor with 2h/bow to light armor with resto/destro (or resto/1h&s for pvp) no problem. Well, actually that is the problem. Since my desired play style and the reason why I chose my racial passives didn't really work out, now I'm left with complete dead weight passives that do me zero good.
I'd love to reroll but I spent a significant amount of time clearing every single quest and crafting my way to max levels all the way up until around VR5 before I realized that medium armor with 2h/bow was weak sauce in both solo PVE and group PVE compared to light armor + resto/destro. By that time I was something like 300 hours in and could not fathom rerolling another Sorc instead of leveling up some alts.

I just keep playing and hoping that one day this will be done.

Yes I've asked for it before too and have participated in other topics about it before as well. I just don't understand why they would possibly wait. Almost everyone sees it as inevitable but I see no benefit on holding off. Make money PLUS make your customers happier? Great Job!

You seem to think that most people would be happy with a race change. Show me proof that most of their customers want this? I certainly don't want this.
