Hey ZOS! Please tell me you guys are working on this issue. The game ran perfect before update 4. This lag/hitch in the game is ridiculous! Still no update on this issue??? Not going to resub until fixed.

Are you going to hold your breath too?

Have you tried de-fragmenting your drive?

It could be the game code or more likely the interaction of the game code with specific hardware/drivers and systems. If it is effecting well under 1% or .001% of the gaming population we would likely see it here in the boards, it would be very difficult for the game builders to find and resolve.

Myself I experienced lag one night only for about 30 min. That could be a whole lot of things besides my machine and the game engine/servers like internet/isp congestion.

I's suggest going though your system with a fine toothed comb and look for any drivers that could possibly by updated even if it doesnt seem directly relevant.

Based on folks' commentary and system specs, I think a lot us complaining here are running good-to-excellent equipment with highly particular settings and full awareness of the currentness of our drivers and associated software.

@Elf_Boy‌ Clearly you did not comprehend what I wrote. As I stated, the game ran smooth and perfect before update 4. Nothing on my side has changed. My system is up to date, including all drivers. I even went as far as completely wiping the entire game and reinstalling. This problem did not exist for me until update 4. Plenty of people are having this problem as well.

    /Sigh

Yes of course, because I dont agree with you I must not understand.

Every day you use the computer the file system changes.<blah> <blah> <more blah gibberish>

    "lol"

Absolute agreement. blah blah blah. :)

    Most probably are.

Doesnt change that having an old driver for example is easy to miss and even if not causing a problem in a prior version of the code it could be now.

I have people tell me nothing has changed all day long. Better then 60% of the time, even with people who are tech savvy - something has changed.

It is easy to get on the soap box and make noise. The bottom line is unless people are willing to look hard at their own systems this isnt going to get fixed and for exactly the reason you stated. The people here have good to excellent systems. The people at Zen wont be able to have systems like these to test. Many of the people here - look at my specs for example - likely have unique hardware configurations.

When everyone can post all drivers are current and all possible system issues fixed/removed then we have no proof this is anything except a conflict due to an old driver, an ssd with no trim support or some other easily fixed issue.

In Cyrodiil (in battles only), the fps drops to 4 (FOUR) on my end.
To avoid a headache or any kind of mental confusion while looking at that slideshow and trying to cast a spell within 10 seconds, I can't level up my VR11 any further. And I can't do Craglorn since I'm a single player, well, except for eventually grouping in Cyrodiil battles. My main is bored to death now...

I've the same problem on EU megaserver. You can see this here in Craglorn or here in Cyrodiil (at 56:25 for example).

Well, after a few days beeing better, stuttering is back, more noticeable than ever, right after the last EU megaserver maintenance...

EDIT: strangely, although stuttering was awful playing PvE, I played PvP like 3 hours in a row and I was like in heaven: no crash, no lag, no stuttering, no fps drops... wow!!!!!
