So, I'm on EP with a small team trying to help you test this. And we have no camps, no seige weapons, no AP, and no PVP skills, and there are approximately 40+ DC (20 or so players with 20 or so devs) vs maybe 15 EP.

You want us to farm AP to help you test this on PTS?

How about a few camps? How about some AP? You really want us running back, with no rapid maneuvers, and seiging glademist with firepots?

P.S. Harness Magicka Exploit still going strong... might want to fix that.

Aww I would love to participate! I found the PTS in the installer and it is 28 gig. With my slow connection it will take several days to download.

Client crashed once. Submitted a bug report. Was really frustrated with the design of the test. If this really was a PFX test why not just have massive zerg battles in a field with a ton of forward camps so we can continuously respawn and keep the particle effects up? Just an idea.

DC won the day but how the other Alliances were supposed to get organized and get back without Maneuvers, trained-up horses and FCs I'll never know.

Obviously, the PFX wasn't a stress test but even bow could be swapped and, my main concern of course, is that Shadowy Disguise worked great but only out of combat, whereas anywhere near combat it is more useless than before, and I've no idea why. Couldn't even sneak amongst the siege and burn them.

Not a spot of lag though even though much less PFX going off than would be typical, obviously.

Well that turned out to be untrue... Everyone I was grouped with left after 15 min due to the fact that we had RUN, because mounts are still glitched, from the next keep over to try to storm a keep with far superior number. Should try this again with more notice, all the skills/traits leveled/Unlocked, and some way to get Forward Camps, Elegant Linings, Grain Solvents, and Mastic semi easily. Then maybe don't have every Dev pick the most OP builds and just running around spamming the most OP skills, but honestly couldn't confirm this too well as i was to busy RUNNING back from Alissia...

Also maybe try sunday evening or something, not noon on a weekday...

Could hardly do any testing. I was fighting for 1-2 minutes, died, respawned at ash, rode 10 minutes or so but at least i killed some devs.

@Dev Naked Nord, one day i will find you too!

Srsly though, the non-devs should've played on another alliance, anyone wouldve been fine.

Loved it, had a great time just healing and rezzing with a little bit of combat in there. Sorry to Paul Sage, I tried to get the rez in before dying but failed. all in all a good time.

Notes: There was several times during the event I was stuck in combat for at least 10 minutes each.
Any chance of getting quick link quotes for combat in cyrodiil like "Defend Right Flank", "Attack the Farm" or other commands to help us get organized for an alliance wide zone chat? Just seemed that most were either in TS3, Vent or Mumble with their group and no other comms were really there.
Just in case anyone was truly worried about the Templar Shield ability, the sheer number of deaths I have logged while it was active should be enough to assuage anyone's fears.
Imperial Race does not have maxed racial level when creating a character for craglorn like the others.
Even though we now have maxed crafting in the template, when the points are all spent we still only have 1 research per type of crafting instead of the 3 each it is intended to be.
As a last note I'd like to mention that when I reset defaults on my graphics and readjusted for brightness I stopped getting crashes due to Art load errors.

Definitely had fun, however, would've been better if either FCs were dropped more frequently. Often I was having to ride back from Alessia all the time because camp was down, no one had the AP to buy another. Instead of relying on a dev to put it down, it would've been better if you just gave everyone 100k AP or so for FCs and Siege.

For next time: On a new character using the template, you have 5 million gold and 100 filled soul gems in one of the boxes. You have enough to buy a light horse plus add one more speed point.

When you get into Cyrodiil, quickly run through the tutorial. This will earn you 1700 AP and unlock the first alliance skills. This gives you rapid maneuvers plus a horse with 26% speed. The tutorial also gives you a free Forward Camp. I was running from Rayles back to Glade's mine until I realized we could use a FC and dropped one at the mine.

This would be true if anyone had had time to do this. Expecially with them moving it up at the last minute. Wtf do they expect from up... Christ...

Was fun thanks would have been nice to have those camps and some spare AP to put up our own ^^ (there were non on AD side other than those we set ourself when we got the AP) the run back on slow horse was really bad. So was a deserved kill whilst /drum was going :P

Consider yourself lucky you could even mount. I was combat locked after every single death, having to RUN back from alissia, every single time.
