What I do is when I EXP grind I collect all those enchantments and man I get a lot, then I extract all of them. A hour to 2 hour session gives me around 5 to 8 levels on average.

Getting from level to level below 20 is pretty easy. From level to level between 20 and ~30 isn't too difficult. From 30 on it is a slog.

After making several glyphs and deconstructing several others, I've barely made a scratch on my level. This is ridiculous! Is enchanting so much better than cooking and mixing potions that it should be this much of a grind?

The outcome for highly gear flexibility is worth it. Personally I appreciate "no pain no gain" thoughts.
There should be much more like that in ESO.

My main (VR10) is technically 50 in everything.
I offloaded Provisioning and Alchemy off to Alts, but kept Enchanting as it took so long already.
Just cost some gold to eat/drink bonuses, my main refused to spend any other skill points and then so close to 50 that I finished for the Achievement.
Agreed, Enchanting is so much harder to level.

Im level 50 enchant on 4 characters. Stop complaining, its not that bad.
Make blue or green glyphs. Deconstruct them with another character.
You dont need level 50 to make the best glyphs antway, you need 45 or something to have all passives. By the time you actually need them, you will be around 40-42 ish anyway by normal leveling and questing.

Next patch will require 50 in each profession to learn/make the new stuff.

I discovered the joy of a crafting partner ... levelled 43-45 with one major trade, then another levelled by crafting a whole lot of lower V level blues for sale.

Yesterday traded about 120 glyphs of various levels which got me to just below 49, then with my hitting V14 I crafted a full set of legendary glyphs for my V14 crafted set gear and got to just below 50 - crafted 1 extra V10+ legendary to hit 50. (My ESO+ probably helped those last few levels as well)

Pre-crafting partner I was leveling by deconstructing everything I found as loot and discovering the new effects of the runes I hadn't used yet.
Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

Just my opinion, but I think crafting should be harder. And more of a grind. I like how enchanting currently is.

I am gonna hit 40 tonight SOLO style no help, I will actually be quite pissed if they make it easy to level, unless they give all those enchanters some sort of 'Were sorry' package based on level obtained before patch lol...
Check the dates on the posts and read the replies from this year - you leveled on the "easy to level" version! But I didn't, and no, I'm not pissed that you did. Things change - roll with it! :)

    I'm vr12, almost 13 with enchanting at 49.25.

It's not hard if you take the time to google it.

Swapping glyphs with a buddy, we both started working on the skill around player level 25ish. By the time we hit vr3 we were both lvl 40 enchanting.

He sent me all his runes, i made as many glyphs as i could with his and mine and sent them to him.

He deconstructed and remade to send to me. We never swapped blue or higher, only green and white. Did this 1 or 2 times a day while cleaning out inventory from leveling.

We stopped swapping after we both hit 40. All other xp has come from deconstructing drops.

At level 20 you can make v1 glyphs..so it works a bit diffrently from other crafts.

Yea something is way off on the levelling bit I'd say o.O

    Hmm.

I got my provisioning up to 50 just by cooking up stolen ingredients from the ships in stone falls.

It saves my laundering slots for treasures.

Unless you have a buddy who'll make glyphs, enchanting can be a pain.

It's been pointed out many times, you can pass your glyphs back and forth with one of your own alts and get as much experience.

The only drawback to this is that you need a lot of runes; if you have a buddy, presumably you have both been collecting runes.

At higher levels you should be using runes from higher level zones that are enchanting level 3, 4, 5, etc. Making glyphs with level 1 Jora isn't going to get you anywhere. So you won't generally get a level 10 character up to Enchanting 50 the way you can do with Provisioning. Enchanting is the same as Alchemy - at higher levels you need higher level mats to gain a level in reasonable time.

If you are at character level 30 or 40 and you don't have a stockpile of runes you already deconed from the hundreds of glyphs you pick up from dead zombies, etc. then you are going to have to spend gold at a guild store and buy glyphs to decon.

Doing the Enchanting crafting writ with several alts daily is also helpful. The experience is poor, but you will collect green glyphs to decon, at progressive levels if you keep leveling your alts, and maps to higher level runes. It doesn't take long to pile up runes if you do the writs.

All told, I leveled two alts with each other to level 43 and it took about 20 minutes.

Nope. I have enchanting 50 on 5 characters. Once you understand how to level it is a piece of cake.

    1. Make sure you have enough skills points for deconstruction and getting your mats back. Maybe put points in inspiration buff in champion point tree.
2 Have a friend make you high enchants with green or better aspects, the better the aspect and higher the level the better.
    3. Now you have your enchanted that can make high level mats you can make everything yourself.
    4. Repeat process for all your alts.

This way you always get your mats back as you decon. I used Tah the white ones until I got enough points to start reclaiming materials.

Biggest thing I've noticed is the fact that maybe 80% of the runestones i've found in the gameplay areas tend to be Ta's which drives me nuts. Even deconstructing glyphs gives me more of those useless things. Tbh I've not really spent that many points in the talent where increasing the odds of better runes from deconstructing and hirelings are concerned. I can't justify spending the points based on what I've seen others get from dc'ing glyphs. Doesn't strike me as making a huge difference.

There is also a HUGE disparity between leveling Blacksmithing versus Clothing and Woodworking. The latter two were quick and easy to level, but Blacksmithing is taking a LOT longer.
