Eyes the Path (New Elite Gear Vendor) Missing from North Morrowind Gate

Each faction in Cyrodiil received a new vendor with the 1.3 update. This vendor (which some have referred to as an elite vendor) sells upper level (VR12) versions of the lower level set pieces (such as the Ravager set). AD and DC have their new vendors; but the new vendor for EP (named Walks the Path) is currently bugged and is not visible or interactable in the game. The vendor's name can be seen on the map at the bottom of the list of vendors at the Merchant House at the North Morrowind Gate. A CS rep told me the vendor should be located near the stacks of chopped wood by the entrance near the stable and near the other vendor by the wood (Bothas).
Even though these new vendors are charging 200K+ AP for their pieces instead of the new reduced rate of 33K AP, I would still like to pick up some new pieces and try the new sets they supposedly offer.
@ZOS_BrianWheeler Is there any chance this can be fixed soon given how it puts EP at a minor disadvantage while this vendor is missing?

✭There is actually some kind of a weird bug for this NPC.
I can see it with my main character but not with alts !! No one in my guild could see it... it's like I'm the only one.

✭✭✭That is very interesting, Sotha Sil. I do not have any alts so the problem manifests for me on my main and only character. I'm on the NA server (Thornblade) if that makes any difference.
I am just glad someone else has encountered this problem as most people in my zone chat do not even know there is supposed to be a new vendor there.0 -

✭✭✭When I first encountered the problem on Monday night, I received an in-game chat message from a GM with questions along with the standard suggestions of reloadui, logging out and repairing the client, none of which worked obviously. It was the GM who told me Walks should be located by the stacks of chopped wood.
There is also a missing vendor at the Warrior's Tavern at the Southern Morrowind Gate. I have no idea how long that vendor has been missing.Edited by LonePirate on August 8, 2014 7:00PM0 -

Granted, the memory leak/crashing problem needs to be top priority; but it shouldn't take a week (or more actually) or tweak a line of code that turns on a vendor, especially considering how there are two nearly identical vendors already present for the other factions.1 -

Yes. Each faction has a new vendor at one of the gates alongside the other vendors. You can see their names on the maps for the gate where they are located. AD and DC both have accessible vendors. EP does not. These vendors are Elite Gear vendors and they sell pricy, upper level versions of PVP gear. I think they also sell sets the existing vendors do not carry. I haven't confirmed that last point but based on posts in the PTS forum, that seems to be the case.0 -

Y'know what's really funny? One of my guildies actually got an open ticket and return call from ZoS' customer support deriding him; I quote, "Sir, there no VR12 PvP rings in this game. I have no idea what an 'elite vendor' is; you are, unfortunately, mistaken."

✭✭✭In all fairness to ZOS, the content of this patch was likely locked down yesterday and Brian didn't pursue a fix for this issue until this morning. Unless the fix involved a very simple fiag or field change in a DB, then we weren't going to see the fix today. Now, if the fix is not present after next week's first patch, then we all need to grab our pitchforks.2 -
Might check if whatever the bug is, is also the reason we've never been able to see many guild traders (like the ones in The Hollow City), the normal Cyrodiil vendors in the armory disappeared, etc.0 -
