Anyway, if I have any post in the past that hurt you, I am deeply sorry about that. Its just that sometimes I post things without thinking.

The truth is I really respect you as a PVP player. Sometimes I just get hurt when you QQ in the forums about EP and how we play because most of us are just enjoying the game as a casual player.

    o:)

I could tell you I am sorry if I have hurt your feelings - but I would be lying. The reality is that when the map goes full red - its a real grind the next morning - and most of my guys and other DC are getting plain out and out sick of it. The EP that stick around to defend sit in the keeps - use all their counter siege - do not come out to fight us - and we have to grind down keep walls and enemy players in the process of reclaiming our home turf - and then potentially a scroll or two. Most of us would prefer not to have to grind keeps daily - and instead look for small areas we could stage as "Fight Zones" and just have fun fighting each other.

This is not fun game play - to have to grind all your home territory back every day.

I do not care that you are a casual PvP player - there are other servers you could go and learn about PvP with other good groups and practice against players - and then you would maybe understand why AD and DC get so angry at EP and PvForum with you all the time.

    I admire your sincerity.

Anyway, I just found a third solution.

I will leave and change my campaign after this one. Besides, i really hate all the QQ and drama in this campaign anyway. Let me just finish this campaign and then I will change my home campaign.

At least I learned 1 good lesson from this campaign:

Just play PVP and don't read the forums because it is just full of epeen contest... waste of time anyway. ;)

    o:)

    Now you finally get it.

This is the same reason I haven't set foot on Haderus in the past 2 cycles.

Also no one is epeen bragging - just stating facts. Fairweathers of any faction are easy and profitable to farm for others.

I understand you... but driving us away from this campaign will not really solve your problem. I'm not trying to mock you but it is clear that your alliance is weak at a particular hour of the day. The solution for me is to strengthen your defenses 24/7. Driving us away will not really solve anything. If its not EP, other people will still take advantage of it, including maybe even DC from other campaigns.

Anyway this is just a game and its your Alliance, so you do what you think is best for it. I'm just saying.

    Take care o:)

    Murtugo,

You come across as a reasonable person - but not a very well informed one. If you read through the posts on this forum you will find out what's going on. AD effectively stomped EP into the dirt when EP was "not online" on Thornblade. EP got sick of this - and decided to come to Chillrend and do the same thing to the DC/AD here on Chill. Those of us who regularly play on Chill came here because we wanted a fun three way and competitive campaign - even if it was relatively smaller.

What is happening now is that EP is overwhelming the server with population at ALL times of the day and trying to maintain it as their "buff server" for PvE and for "PvP" on this server. Really it's just a mass of EP everywhere you go. We put a keep under siege and capture it and as we finish the inner wall there are well over 40 EP already shooting the outer. That's a 2 minute capture from starburst to capped and 1 minute repair of outer...so a 3 minute response time on well over 40 EP because we challenged a keep...that does not have a scroll in it. When we flipped Farragut it was an immediate pickup of the scroll by someone we did not know - who ran the scroll immediately to the Ghartok gate where it was dropped and an EP member picked it up. Then...60+ EP sieged the keep and overwhelmed my 18 man group with sheer numbers. The keep being especially soft did not help due to the response time.

Don't take any of that as whining - they are just facts. I made well over 350K yesterday in about 4 hours of play time so I am not whining at all - I play to have fun more than anything else. I would prefer the server were competitive and fun...but we can't have our cake and eat it too because EP got sick of AD flipping a map when they were offline.

Me too - I do not think that making the "home campaign" buff being only available in "your home campaign" will do much to the current population imbalances we see across the campaigns:

Bow of Shaodws: Dc Buff server
    Haderus: AD Buff Server
Chillrend: Quickly becoming the EP buff server (though some of us will fight to keep this from being so believe me)

Leaving the 30 day campaign as the only contested campaign - with a large queue during prime time and from what I have read - massive lag problems with zerg balls everywhere - and a large oceanic AD pressence that blows out the map in the evening...apparently.

They need to take the campaigns and make them static - and make the buffs from them only count in THAT campaign - and not in PvE land - or the PvE people will continually pick a server and zerg it for buffs.

Yeah, that's exactly what it is. Each faction demands to have a campaign on lockdown, and there aren't enough for that. There were before the campaign overhaul.

Don't get me wrong, we had too many before. But the way ZOS has it set up now, there simply won't be any balanced, healthy campaigns. Buffs carrying over outside of that specific campaign has to end. Even then, I wonder if we won't still see factions piling in to whichever server they have the number advantage on, making it even worse.

I get the idea of the safety net - "I'm going to this server, because my faction has a higher population there, so my chances of getting beat down are less." But I don't see the enjoyment in rolling over the other factions 20 of the 24 hours in a day. Reminds me of playing Nintendo with a Game Genie when I was 8.

I'm not going to sit here and lay blame on one faction or the other. I think we all know what's happened on Chillrend, whether some folks are willing to admit it or not. One might say it was Faction A that caused it, but then the reason Faction A did this was because Faction B did that, and so on, and so on. Who I will point the finger at is ZOS for allowing it to continue and not implementing a solution by now. That leaves it up to the player base to be reasonable, and that is clearly not our strong suit.

Yes, I freely admit to homing a different server than Thornblade.

Man Ifthir is on a roll today.. sends me a message and immediately after he ignores me so I can't respond to him. Plus he deflects all the hipocracies ducted at him towards Agrippa and says claims he never said those things when all we have to do is flip back a few pages and see that he did... But it's alright because he is always right and everything we say is wrong so what he says is law.

Please go troll elsewhere... Maybe if you spent less time bashing one of the most successful red guilds in the game and stopped being so condescending on here people would respect you more.

Same Dawnbreaker drama queens alive and well on Chillrend.

Was a busy Monday - kids going back to school this week etc. EHJ will be running on Chill tonight - if you can pull a group together GRx - we can green team these EP zerglings and make buttloads of AP - they are really all baddies zerging around. The empress and mighterknot are small threats - but can be handled with the correct counters in place.

And - FWIW - I blame Zenimax as much as EP - EP wanted a buff server - Chill was the only logical choice for them since they did not want to go uphill against BOW to get it back.

As an EP player, I'd like to plead with my alliance on Chillrend to STOP gate camping the other two alliances. I don't know who is doing it, but I recall not enjoying PvP as much when the battle was up-hill all the time -- does anyone else remember how lame it was to play on Auriel's Bow when everyone was gate camped by AD, and then by DC? Guilds picked up and abandoned the campaign.

Chillrend should be where good fights happen -- it's not a buff server.

PvP is not any fun without anyone to fight.

This is objective-based PvP. There's no reason to hold forts that open the other alliances' gates unless we're trying to get a scroll. With no keeps/outposts to take, with no scrolls to pursue, the only thing there is to do is maraud the map trying to find the few players from the other alliances who have the tenacity to still play -- and they're rare.

When one alliance overruns everything, all the time, the campaign dies. Chillrend is going to lose more and more population from AD and DC if we keep up this nonsense.

I *wanted* to PvP, tonight -- until I saw the map.

So whoever keeps gate camping AD and DC, please cut it out. Frankly, I don't enjoy being part of an alliance that thinks the goal of PvP is demoralizing the enemy into not playing anymore.
