If I leave my PC on with ESO launcher will it auto-update? Or will only download the update when I open the launcher after the patch released? Thanks, I really need a quick reply

No idea but why not leave it on a find out, seems no harm in doing so.

I *think* it auto-updates but I play several games and some do, some don't so I wouldn't be certain of ESO.

Open the launcher and under game options/settings select always update. Do your business and all going well it will be up and running in a few hours.

If you are not sure if the launcher will update the game if left running.

Why not setup the Task Scheduler and set the launcher to run at a certain time. Least that way if you happen to have a long work shift. The game can updated while you are still at work.

Yes, auto update is the default setting.

It indeed works. I didn't have to setup anything. Thanks for the suggestion about the task scheduler, I'll definately explore it for other apps. It's so good to arrive home and see my beloved ESO ready to play. Recommend to anyone to leave their PCs on during maintenance.
