None of them. I don't think there should be any other playable races than the current ones, which have been playable in all Elder Scrolls games. They're the only lore-friendly civilized races.

    This.
They _could_ pull it off without breaking lore, I Guess, if they made an expansion With Akavir, although then the Whole play would probably have to happen there...

I think we have enough races. But daedra would be probably interesting lore-wise.

Wrong, there are other lore friendly civilised races, just because they haven't been player races doesn't make them against the lore. You need to differenciate between not been done before and contradicts existing lore.

If this was TES VI then they would break the lore (mostly), but this game is set in the second Era when they still exist, except the Chimer and Dwemer, obv.

An expansion into Akavir would be nice, but they could do it without the expansion.

It would feel really weird to play a race that wasn't a playable race in the single player titles. Dragon-break weird.
Weirder than having two games tell us Orcs are wild and savage beasts, then seeing them playable in the third?

I'm fine with 10 races and I don't think we need more, but if they're added, I'd like something lore-friendly like Maormer, Imga or perhaps the Akaviri races in case we ever go there.

None, thank you very much. Let's just leave this game alone as far as races go, okay?
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

    When I think 'Fox person'
I think of something greatly detailed.

The opposite of Khajit, and a master of cloth and sticks.

Hmm. The Western stereotype of the fox is that of a highly intelligent, clever trickster (Reynard the Fox, for example, or Jim Kjelgaard's "The Haunt Fox"), while the Eastern mind stereotypes them as being highly magical, and perhaps somewhat evil.

    Already in the game.

Would be very interesting though as playable race. Of course with restriction that they cannot wear legs and feet or maybe anything but would have racial passives to compensate that. Would jump so many times in town etc when one of those would come behind the corner.

    Maormer - Sea Elves
To everyone saying it'd break tradition to add new races: It doesn't.
Do not forget Orcs were added when it suited the setting.

Regardless, Maormer, and maybe the Cathnoquey Chimer (They were alive by the time of Oblivion) and Akaviri races are the only ones I'd see playable atm.
Dremora are immortal, but generally they're as weak as mortals, so they could be playable if somehow the entire form of the playable ones ended up on Nirn. (Summoning them is akin to dreaming, their body does not come to Nirn, and killing them just respawns them in Oblivion)

There is only one Dwemer, only one. And that's Yagrum Bagarn.
And the remaining Snow elves are all hiding in a hidden valley and do not leave said valley. While the last Ayleids have assimilated into the Bosmer culture and are basically taller Bosmer.

    Towards a Dragon'd Sea: Cathnoquey

The island is canon, the Chimer living on it aren't. Still, it's an interesting story.
