There may be copies floating around, but ZO isn't making it officially available for purchase. So again, they gave you something they didn't give to Steam users. That should take care of the hurt feelings people appear to have over not being pet on the head and told, "You're a very special snowflake," while Matt Firor feeds them chicken soup.
That's an Explorer's Pack perk, so yes, if they got a copy, they would have it.well they don't have access to the any race in any faction and never will

Imperial Edition, Explorer's Pack, even beta keys are still floating around. Anyone who looks hard enough could find it.
Here's some food for thought: Have you ever considered that maybe, just because something is no longer manufactured, that doesn't mean it's unavailable and exclusive?

You seriously think that's what it's about? That someone else is getting something we are not? Wow. You managed to skim past pages of posts on multiple threads and still come up clueless as to what the actual gripe is. Congratulations. Let me break it down for you. We want to play on Steam. As it is now we cannot. We cannot even transfer our existing accounts to Steam. Does that clear it up for you? I really can't make it any more simple for you.

The entire Explorer's Pack is all-in one, and it was supposed to be exclusive to pre-order copies, but there were retailers like GameStop and Best Buy still selling games with the EP in them, so they ended up not being exclusive at all.emeraldbay wrote: »It doesn't take care of the hurt feelings because we don't have anything that they don't have access to.nerevarine1138 wrote: »emeraldbay wrote: »Actually, there are still copies of that floating around. It doesn't make people who actually want the pet feel better either.
But people are annoyed with the people who are annoyed with Zenimax so we're all unhappy now. Misery loves company.
The bigger issue is they get full access and a nicer perk for a lot less money and didn't pay an extra $30 subscription fee....they basically get craglorn, numerous bug fixes, fuller world access and a highly wanted pet...All for about 70% less then what preorder have paid to date.
It's like buying something for $130 but while you are paying at register you see someone else getting the exact same thing for $40.

What's humorous is that people are defending this at all. If everyone who didn't care about the pet or the Steam keys just stopped interacting in the posts regarding the pet and Steam keys, and went and did something they DID care about, there'd be significantly less drama on these boards right now.
The truth is, they do care. They care, but they won't admit it because that would leech a small bit of the joy out of their time in game, with that little thought in the back of their mind resonating, reminding them they are supporting a company that doesn't give two *** about them.

thanks for the clarification I was a virtual buyer so I didn't know that.

See, you don't even have to try. They can get everything we have for only a few bucks in addition to their purchase, and we'd have to make a whole new account, buy the game again, and start completely from scratch.
