What kind of improvement?I hope not, Steam was a pita and I have really noticed an improvement in Elder scrolls when it moved to ESO and no steam
I hope it does go to Steam... That way I won't have to wait for the patches to DL when I get off of work... I can come home to the game already patched and ready to play...
Steam Auto-Updates FTW!
This is not a "sign" of the game going Free to Play...
Everything is a sign of ESO going Free to Play these days, The Guar Plush was a sign ffs... wth is up with all of these "The Sky is Falling" people...

not all change, many i'v tried have stuck to their pay style, MY question tho is "Will this mean i need to re-install to get it to work via steam?"NewBlacksmurf wrote: »So an announcement was made or a leak that Steam users now have access to TESO.
On social media sites people have all types of opinions and responses but I'm curious. Is this just another way to get access to the game or as some suggest, when MMORPG games go to Steam, the pricing model is subject to change?
Just a conversation topic for today...

Quick question, if I downloaded and played through the steam version, would it have any effect in my addons? I prefer steam personally just because everything is then in one place.

They are perfectly allowed to add the game to Steam without the threat of F2P looming. The F2P doomsayers are really starting to grate.
They have no plans to change from the current subscription model. Deal with it. Either pay your sub fee and play or please stop complaining about there being a sub fee and go play an actual F2P MMO.
You could also try and add the game as a Non Steam Game to Steam. In fact, you could try that right now and see what happens if you want to launch the game through Steam.

It also allows them to have random sales for cheaper to get more people into the game. So instead of now having to go Zenimaxs store or go buy a physical copy people will see it on steam. It's advertisement and makes it easier to buy.
