isengrimb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭One of the actors does the voice of the Templar follower on Diablo 3. I always get a kick out of that.
Dominic Keating, from Star Trek: Enterprise (the first three seasons were the grittiest ST ever, loved it. "Hey, we're going out to make lots of new friends, wheee!" next season: "How come everyone we meet shoots at us?")
I think the blood elf voice mentioned in the next post refers to Lor'themar Theron's voice. That would be a guy named Gideon Emery, and you can hear him a lot in Skyrim, too. I _LOVE_ his voice, just to listen to it. Him and Alan Rickman could sit there and read the damn phone book, and I'd love every second of it.

I gotta say, I was also really, really disappointed by this voice. Fits plenty of other characters, but a giant, ancient tree? An ancient tree that sounds like a San Franciscan trying to speak with an English accent? No...nono....no..........0 -

He was my favorite from Skyrim and I was so pleased to find him here.
He does Shalidor, Eboric Direfrost and many other Nords in the game, including the singing Bard that follows you in the Rift.
I always take my time with that quest, just to hear him finish the song lol

Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -

Some of the stuff that King Emeric says when you're standing around near him is very funny. Such as his 'Skeletal Queen' comment. Gave us all a good laugh.
Also the voice actor of the werewolf-changer in Bangkorai in prison, she was also great.If you can be anything, be kind.0 -
snackrat✭✭✭John Cleese (Cadwell) is fantastic, but my favourite VA is still Keith Szarabajka, across many games. Apparently Szarabajka is one of your favourites, too - because he's the deep, gravelly, dry voice in that first video you linked. He voices individuals of nearly every race in ESO it seems - primarily dunmer, argonian, and orc. He also voices all the runecrafting translations... which when I started I thought was voiced by your character and meant Szarabajka voiced ME. By the time I learned I was voiced by what sounded like an overstretched rubberband snapping, it was too late...
...reading through this, it looks like I lot of people like Szarabajka. The drunk dunmer in OP, Doubt-the-Moon, and runecrafting announcer... that's all him.Edited by snackrat on August 23, 2015 12:20AM0 -

✭Kate Beckinsale is my least favorite
I enjoy her for the most part. Though some of her readings can be a little flat. For instance...When you tell her Astanya is a traitor, she responds with "No, Astanya? I dont believe it," or something such.
She doesnt pause and just sounds like she was reading it off a piece of paper. Aside from that though, i enjoyed her performance.
The voices that annoy me most though are Aelif, Merric (he's just annoying to me as a whole), and the undead prince Sheogorath gave his Wabbajack to. Its like they wanted him to sound scary amd intimidatong but just comes off sounding laughably cheesy... and not in the good way.0 -
Steve Blum, he did the voice of Jakarn in the DC story line. He's done so many VO jobs through out his career, but some of his most notable are Spike from Cowboy Bebop and Amon from Legend of Korra0

KiraTsukasa✭✭✭✭✭The bad voice acting, I think, should be attributed to bad voice direction. If the voice actors were bad, they wouldn't have picked them. I mean, look at FFX. So many awkward and weird lines in that game, but they all came from really good voice actors. In ESO, Jennifer Hale voices Lyris Titanborn, but it's not a stellar performance, and the worst part is that I KNOW she does good voice acting work (my personal favorites are Commander Shepard and Sheena Fujibayashi).0

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one who thought that about Bill Nighy, though I really enjoyed John Cleese's performance as always. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice surprise to hear Bill Nighy as King Emeric, but it just came out weird and the way he pronounced the names of people was kind of silly.I think VO acting takes a special skill that neither Bill Nighy or John Cleese possess. Stale, scripted and monotone, the pair of them.
