The guy that sat on the bench all season gets a ring when his team wins. My sub is me sitting on the bench all season.

Im sorry..but paying a sub does not entitle you to all in game items. Thats not how MMOs work. You either chose to participate in the necessary steps to gain the items, or you don't. You have chosen not to. Pretty simple, really.

Wellthen, as soon as Zenimax discounts my sub for the percentage of the game I'm not consuming, your point will be valid.

HAHA...now your just being ridiculous. I bet you wrote Comcast a letter telling them you want your service discounted because you only watch 3 channels eh?

    If I used Comcast...yes. I would.

    Edit:

Look...I'm fine with there being things in the game that I don't want to do. Really I am. I wasn't complaining about PvP or Craglorn or trials or veteran level dungeons....right up to the moment they decided to lock content that I may end up wanting BEHIND ACTIVITIES I DO NOT WISH TO DO.
This would be very much like them locking something YOU really want behind something YOU really don't want to do. Say...you HAVE to RP a couple hundred hours in order to get this really killer stat boost or set of armor or crafting motif.

I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

@MercyKilling Well this is a game. But what does that mean? Scientists on human behavior thinks that one reason way humans are playing games are that it prepares them for an adult life. So maybe you can see this as a training in becoming an adult. As an adult you some times have to do activities that you do not wish to do but you want the things that are locked behind those activities. For an example cleaning your apartment, washing your cloth, mowing the lawn and the list can go on for ever here...

You might say that I only play to have fun and to relax from the day to day chores. I can understand that. I think we all play this game for the same reason. We just all define fun differently. But maybe we can category fun in two categories. Short term fun and long term fun. Unlocking achievements that have not the most fun activities like fishing can be perceived as more fun now when you get rewarded with a die making it a long term fun activity. So if you think about it you might find those things you say now you don't want to do to be fun if you just give your self the chance to experience it after you have done it. In the same way that you can enjoy a cleaned apartment after you have cleaned it.

I'm never going to do veteran level dungeons or content.
So basically you're saying that YOU have chosen not to take part in MANY aspects of this game and somehow you feel entitled to exactly the same things as those who DO participate in PvP, VR content, etc do. Sounds legit.

Yup. Because my $14.99 per month is exactly the same as yours.

And because you pay the same $14.99 per month as everybody else, you also have the same opportunity to acquire those dye colors. You simply choose not to participate in the content that acquires them. Zenimax Online delivers the exact same content to you as everybody else for the exact same price. It's not ZO's fault that you choose not to reach out and grab it.

It's so funny hearing someone straight up refuse to even log into Cyrodil because of some... what? Some misplaced pride? Some belief that refusal to do it will somehow magically influence the devs to remove PvP? These are just guesses. I honestly have no idea.

I hate PvP unless I'm drunk
Can't stand it. Don't like participating in it.

But I went to Cyrodil anyways because I had nothing better to do and I was out of skill points and needed them because I had just hit the gold aspect level of enchanting.

Just for logging in and talking to a nearby NPC, I got a free skillpoint. No PvP required. Turns out that was just a gateway to get me comfortable with the idea of being there. And it worked.

Using a few strategies, like "cheating" by using http://esostats.com/ , I logged on to a server where there was essentially nothing but my own faction. Got all the skyshards, skill points and achievements all through PVE. It was a blast and I enjoyed myself running through my preferred flavor of content. I ran into all of one player of the opposing faction my entire time and they were level 24. Since I was VR2, we both passed each other and went on our merry ways. Hate all you want, but I now have 17-ish more skill points to play with that you'll never get because you refuse to try.

Oh, hey. Isn't that the same thing as dyes? Why are you here talking about dyes (some cosmetic thing!) when you really should be in the PvP forum complaining about all those skill points you'll never get because you refuse to do that content but want them all anyways? That's certainly what I would be more worried about were I in your position.

I also don't want to have werewolf or vamp. Oh, look I have handy-dandy trash bank alts that barely see the light of day. Now my mains have a nice dye color with very little effort or tainting any of my mains.

Several times now I've left feedback ingame about tying shops to guild membership and having to travel to a PvP zone to access them.
I don't care about guilds or PvP, yet I have to put up with both to be able to peruse items other players want to sell. This isn't ideal, and I'm not going into the whole "auction house" debate here....but it's the PRECEDENT of it that I'm against.

No you have not, you can access public guild merchants in normal cities too.

Yes, they will be added in 1.3, there's a post of someone obtaining one of those collectibles (in the achievements window, not the loot window).

I also don't intend to play a Werewolf or Vampire character (at least not any time soon), nor do I do any PvP. This means I don't get those dyes, or those quests, or those skills/points. That's all there is to it. You don't get that stuff. You have every ability to do so, though, which is all your subscription fee guarantees.

I don't have a screen shot of it. But I got in Stormhaven (on the PTS) a blue skull in my inventory that I used and was then added to my trophy achievement list. The skull was BoP (Bind on Pickup) so could not be traded.

Even if you're not a member of a guild?
Because back in early access, if you weren't a member of a guild that had a store, you were S.O.O.L.

And I did leave boatloads of feedback (and still do) on being forced into guild membership in order to partake of items for sale by other players. You're not me, and you don't have the slightest clue what I did and did not do. Please don't make baseless claims like that.

There are going to be 120 traders located throughour the WHOLE of Tamriel, not only Cyrodiil.

You will be able to find 120 places where you can buy stuff from guildstores, without being member of any guild.

So if I'm understanding this right, a character who is a vampire has access to Nexophilic Black?

@silent_banshee Yes, as long as you've completed the quest to become a vampire, you unlock it. I'm not sure if the dye stays after you cute vampirism, but I have access to the lycanthropy colour on my non-werewolf character, and access to the vampire dye on my non-vampire characters.
