Serving the Daedra, Who is your master?

Daedra worship is a huge part of TES Lore, and even game play, in every TES game you have the option to serve a Daedra, or multiple Daedra, for a period of time or a few quest lines.

I think perhaps in ESO the opportunity is there to choose a permanent patron, and do multiple quest-lines, story-lines, and even have a trait tree related to your Daedric, or Aedric patron. There is a lot of room for improvement here in ESO for these mechanics, whereas there really wasn't in the main TES games.

Who is your favorite Daedra, or which one would you choose to serve, and why?

Not quite true... they're the same being (sort of), but Jyggalag acts as the prince of order instead of madness/disorder...

I think having skill lines for some deadra princes is great. More world skill lines, or soul.

Hermaeus Mora, was there really any doubt? I also have a sort spot for a few others, Peryite springs to mind, but ultimately knowledge is power!

I wouldn't mind seeing a Daedric Prince quest line when you can align yourself to one or more Princes and gain access to new skill lines relevant to each prince and all that jazz, it would be awesome.

Except, story-wise, it wouldn't make sense to align yourself with Molag Bal.

True enough, Molag Bal could be excluded, but why would a Vampire align itself with Meridia as she hates undead? Why would anyone want to align with an 'evil' prince when we're forced to be a good guy?
Perhaps you could align yourself with Molag Bal and the quests would simply be side ones, nothing which impacts the main story line, like 'Go to x and kill followers of y', you might wish to serve the Prince but know he ultimately has to be stopped as you are but a lowly follower or something. I ultimately want the Necromancer to be a class but because they also appear as antagonists many people are against such a thing... If ESO had a 'dark' story alternative and more immoral / dark decisions there wouldn't be an issue. With the current zoning and whatnot I could see it working. That being said it would be a coding nightmare and take months if not years, so it probably won't happen.

The Cheese serves me and I work with Sheogorath. He does more for me than I do for him.

Actually the Daedric Name represents the personification of the trait it entails. Sheogorath is "Madness", Jyggalag is "Order". Sheogorath stopped being Sheogorath when he became Jyggalag, The player then became Sheogorath Prince of Maddness.

So no Sheogorath is not Jyggalag.

I love how TES lore uses actual Metaphysical and Alchemical concepts of theoretical magic in their lore. Means someone on the development team actually has a background in something most practitioners/students of metaphysics, take for granted, in this, the age of instant gratification.
