Oh, so now were bringing money into the equation? So AMD users think their cards are better simply because they are cheaper? LoL.

lol, read for yourself. I don't see green dominating all the higher performance half of the chart, now do they? :pensive:

    http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/R9_295_X2/24.html

I also don't see that chart listing any better Nvidia cards. Bias proof is bias.

lol, because there isn't any.... lol^2.

I see a Titan 6GB on the list compared to the AMD 8GB...

You know there is a Titan 12GB right? Why is that not on the list? Yea, Bias.

Doesn't matter what card is better. If a game isn't optimized for that hardware you're out of luck.

LOL, you mean the mighty Titan Z, nVidia was so scared, they did not send out any sample for review upon release.

and guess what, the cat is out of the box now. Now before clicking the link, do remember Titan Z ($3000) is twice as expensive as 295x2.

I have AMD could be why I didn't have problems.

That's because AMD problems are normal, so they aren't consider problems. Users are just used to bad performance in the AMD world lol

Yet I'm hitting 35-45 FPS in heavy Cyrodill battle, around 75-100 in dungeons- and 65-75 in open world.

Eww 35-45 FPS? If its less that 60, its a problem.

That's while you NVIDIA users are lagging in Cyrodill. Also I'm fairly certain my hard drive and CPU are my bottlenecks.

    But, But, I never lagged?

Ah hahaha. I'm screwing with ya man. My frames are pretty good but I chose AMD because of the price to performance. I have nothing against Nvidia. I just found the card that was right for me, and it happens to be AMD

Nah its fine just joking lol.

it was runing perfect on my invidia card untill patch 1.2.3 so i ask you was eso optimised for invidia since i had no fps problems before the patch?
i had problems early on in eso with constant crashing but then a few patches ago it stoped and seemed to be fixed. but, this last patch just serious low fps while around a keep and alot of people in battle. the rest of my time in cryodiil i get amazing graphics and 80 - 120 fps. it's just when im in battle near alot of people and near castles. it was never like this before patch 1.2.3

The Titan Z is not a gaming card. Only idiots use it as such. It should have been part of the Quadro family, it has been said many times, that card was created with computing in mind. cs.

Then don't market it to gamers, why would nVidia make fool out of its fanbase is beyond me, and thats a real question.

Religious debates about gfx cards are so cool. ;) Any new card in the medium to high range is so overkill for this game from both vendors.

I really can't see drivers helping you here but changing to windowed mode may help a little in general play (or vice versa) . You may also get the awesome placebo effect that many see. Recommended solution: play long enough or run into a zerg in order to remove the placebo effect.

Is it possible that the lag is being worked on while we speak? Hmmm, I recall a thread where they said they identified the problem and they are working on it. I think the OP found one possible solution to some people, since there are so many different things that could be going wrong from internet connection to a bug in the last update. Patience is a virtue.

They already pushed that fix live and it actually made it worse for some people and didn't fix anything for the rest.

They already pushed that fix live and it actually made it worse for some people and didn't fix anything for the rest.

Did they say they did this? All I remember is some random hotfix without patch notes last night. Doesn't mean that was the fix.

"This is by no means a final or complete fix to the issue, but we felt it important to do what we could in the short term now." L2R?

"We just finished pushing a hotfix for the FPS issue." See? I too can pick up some random sentence that serves the point I'm trying to make.

A hotfix which was not the final fix. L2R. Seriously.

You asked it they say it was a fix for the fps issue and they did. You never asked if it was this final fix you are talking about now. Maybe you should L2R man.

I said they are working on the problem, and then you said they already pushed that through, so it is you who claimed they made a final fix. L2R.

Also have a GTX 560 Ti with Win 7 64bit and I have not experienced the issues that most do in Cyro. I run the most current drivers but I don't have the Beta drivers. I've been reading a lot that slightly older PCs are doing somewhat better than brand spankin new top-end gaming rigs right now. Granted I'm not talking about playing ESO on a potato, which I'm sure many do, I mean a decent $500-700 machine that's 2-3 years old, for some reason those of us in that category seem to mostly do fine.

Is it possible that the lag is being worked on while we speak? Hmmm, I recall a thread where they said they identified the problem and they are working on it. I think the OP found one possible solution to some people, since there are so many different things that could be going wrong from internet connection to a bug in the last update. Patience is a virtue.

Not final, but by "that fix", you were referring to the fix I had suggested, which was the final fix. Besides that, your statement implied that they were finished, because you were arguing against my comment that they were working on the situation. So yea, you lose.
