Exactly the reason why they should be implemented
It only has the same effect if the people being lol'd understand your motives, and the people reading along at home don't think you just found something amusing and fun.AlienDiplomat wrote: »Personally I find clicking "LOL" on an offensive post has basically the same effect. Otherwise, I consider actually posting a well-thought reply to be the appropriate equivalent to "disagree."
Unless they are trolls. Then you just ignore them until they get jaded with no one paying attention to them and go away.
You clearly make a good point, one I skipped as being too hard for me to sum up as clearly as you did.I shouldn't be allowed to click an agree or yes button if there isn't a no button. This is a troll tactic of companies to minimize negative communication and try to "kid down" the environment. You can thank Facebook for this model.
I say anything I am allowed to express Yes, i should be allowed to express NO.
Disagree. Now here's why:
A troll tactic is to click "disagree" without bothering to expound upon a reason why. You wouldn't do so face-to-face (at least not without the other person thinking you're a moron), so why should you do so on an internet forum?

It amuses me that you got 18 LOLs for this.
