I wonder how many bugs and breaks will be in the second major update patch that they were not sure if they should release 24 hours before release. I can see no logic in testing until Thursday to make sure you are 100% ready and doing it on a scheduled day. I guess reddit gave the approval so it hits live today.

Haha.. seems I hit a nerve for all the brats aroun d here kicking and screaming because they were not getting picked.

This is some of the best feedback I've seen from an mmo. Of course I come from an older generation like DAoC and UO. Maybe the new generation needs more communication like countdown timers and daily emails.

Its worse. Quite a few blames the game for not getting a group. A group tool that instantly puts you in a group, seams to be the only option to group for quite a lot of people.

You guys really need to keep up with video game design and technology. If you want to see how it's done in the 21st century, take a look at WoW's BG, LFG and LFR queuing systems. And they operate on separate realms, not a megaserver.

Well, with Connected Realms and Cross Realm grouping while WOW may not be 'mega-server' based in the sense there's only one per region, the numbers of discrete server farms is shrinking by the month.

So I pay them and I'm supposed to give them a reason to post and give us updates on the official forums? SERIOUSLY? This is the type of thing that should worry people about the future of the game, not imbalance.

Well, from the look of the patch notes, I agree with all changes (though would be nice to clarify if they are just cutting DURATION of Burning Talons (***, like if Talons needed ANOTHER nerf, they are even now like worse CC in game)- which would mean the same damage over shorter time, or if they are just removing one tick and THEREFORE lowering the damage as well), just this is a bit weird:

Long Shots: This passive ability’s bonus is now applied to enemies greater than 40 meters away.

Ehm.. isn't bow range 28-35m max? What use is a passive we can only proc in cyrondil with a range buff? Bow already has weak passives, this makes it even worse.
It should be scaling with range, pretty much the same way the Reverse Slash scales with remaining HP..

    //
Also, yesterday I've noticed on alt that my abilities/heavy attacks weren't doing extra sneak damage with bow.
Since sneak damage should be +100% (unable to crit, which means it's 150%+100% = 250% dmg when sneak attack crits, instead of 2*1.5 = 300% dmg)
And my heavy attack was consistently doing 64 damage
My sneak heavy attacks should therefore deal 128 dmg, BUT they deal only 103. FTC also shows them as crits, aka "*103* heavy attack" (ALL of them, with my 16% crit chance that's highly unlikely).
But if it was non-sneak crit, it should deal 96 dmg (which again isn't 103)
Or if those were sneak crits, they should have done 160 dmg (again, not 103).

Could someone please tell me why the eff I deal 103 dmg with sneak attacks? It doesn't make any sense to me. My alt is breton and I'm too low level for any crit or sneak damage enhancements yet, so dunno what else could interfere. Also my weapon trait is Training and mundus stone Lady (= the first one). And no, I didn't take Long Shots passive yet to interfere with numbers.

I think they meant it's now applied above 40 meters too. As in, previously it worked only up to 40 m. But a clairification would be nice. It shouldn't turn into a PvP-only passive.

Wow. This level of negativity is exactly why they ignore this forum. Take a good look at your posts, think about what @karikin said and then reread your list again. Ironically you are proving his/her point.

Want them to come on and post in their forums? Give them reason to. Raging pushes them away and leaves this place to the mods.

I will say it again, the negativity is due to their absence, so to blame their absence on the negativity is intellectually dishonest and very amusing

Reread their post that you attempted to debunk so quickly. Then go through and read all the posts here again. While you are doing that tally how many complain about their absence vs how many are being blatantly childish and rude over the various bugs or that their classes aren't playing properly. Just in the first 15-20 comments I've seen here thus far the tally is in favor of those being childish and rude about everything else but their absence. That being said, I believe it's perfectly within reason to say that the negativity here causes their absence.

My tally was done by not counting the same person posting about the same issue repeatedly no matter how many people they tried beating a dead horse into. If the same person posted a comment or reply about the absence it was not counted but for the first time. If the same person posted instead something negative not regarding absence their post was added to the negativity tally. So the absence tally I believe was only 3-4. Negativity towards bugs and class fixes was closer to 7+ and this is just on the first page since I am on my phone. If I had time to read through all 5 pages both numbers would surely increase but I have a feeling that absence still loses based on current count.
