What is wrong with daily raw materials?

So what happened to daily raw material mail's?

Since you turned off the bags, because ppl exploit,
there is only crap in the daily mail's.
No more epic/legendary mats for the last weeks.
Do you plan to make this even more worse maybe?
If so, let me know please, so i can spend my points somewhere else.
No need to waste 3 points for 5 void stone ore and 1 corund...

I respecced and didn't invest in those anymore. I had 6 skillpoints in hirelings for 2 professions and the yiled wasn't even worth the time it took to open mail system and look then store. My 6 skill points went into world soulgem skills where I can actually get some profitable items.

My purple mats have doubled in the last two weeks.

Provisioning deliveries are rubbish though, waste of a skill point.

I also was "buffed in this" now in 1 week i get 2-3 alloy and 3-4 Kuta

It's random. Some days I get crap other days I get gold.

For 4 days straight I got 2 legendary mats of each. Other times I'll go 3 days with worthless stuff.

Daily bags are great.
I'm often surprised by the high quality of materials my character receives.
Additionally; skill-points are in no way in short supply, so if your character crafts I think you're mad not to invest a couple of points in it. Well worth it.

This is so reminiscent of the old "[Epic Item] never drops in raids. Game is rigged!" threads of WoW that I'm getting all teary-eyed.

Random is random, OP. Hirelings are inconsistent little creatures who may send you 2 Dreugh Wax for a week and then send you a piece of flint and some shadowhide for the next month.

On my Clothing hireling I have been getting 2 Dreugh Wax's a day for the past week. I have all passives points in and should be getting stuff delivered twice a day but I only get one delivery a day but hey... if they keep sending Dreugh Wax I'm not going to complain.

Now it's a different story on my WoodWorking hireling, I get garbage every day.

Same here. How someone can implement such a feature and not think about raising the minimum to at least one item instead of none is beyond me.

I have two Daedra Hearts already, and I'm nowhere near VR. So your point is?

(Maybe you didn't offer any appropriate sacrifices to the PRNG gods. But if you have to ask how to properly do that...)

I concur with the majority in this thread. I've been getting epic and legendary mats since the change from bags to straight-up mats. Not in every mail, of course, but enough that I'm very satisfied with having spent the skill points on hirelings for all of my alts. Plus, even the base raw mats are nice because you can refine them and get another chance to get tempers etc.

Got 4 dreugh waxs yesterday. Got 2, two days ago. They are working fine. OP doesn't understand random number generators and confirmation bias.

I still get blues, purples, and gold boosters from my low lvl hirelings just about every day. I even collect the raw jute, maple, and iron ore and save it up. Every 10 yields a chance at another blue, purple or gold booster.

Huh, I got 2 wax's and a rosin yesterday. My Smith mail was junk though. But then again I got a temper a few days ago.

Yeah, I'm seeing both an increase in the amount of tempers I receive and in the number of mails I get with nothing in them but 3 raw materials.

I'm also only getting materials of a level I can actually use. I think I like this, but I'm not positive.

I would like to see the "You get hireling mail twice daily" work without me having to log in early morining and late evening on the same day... sometimes I can't login but once.

I believe the system is fine except for deliveries.

I believe when you log in, ALL of your characters should be checked for hireling mail. Instead of logging in, then out, then in, then out, then in, then out... just log in and there it all is.

Not for my level 36 provisioner with a level 20 blue recipe.

Now, if provisioners were to randomly receive a recipe at the player level of the receiver.... , then we'd be talking...

They level with what you're able to work with on the character with the hireling. At one point I made the mistake of upgrading to be able to smith dwarven long before I was a high enough level to wear dwarven... So I started getting dwarven ore in the mail. It meant that I had to consciously keep an eye out for orichalcum in order to have enough to keep crafting gear to wear.

I agree. I'm only getting my top level ore (voidstone) and one or two 'trait' items. I really wouldn't mind a little more variety in the ores department.

U will get only the top level ore that u can craft with. For example, now that I can craft with voidstone, thats all I get. I guess the assumption is u wouldn't want anything lower or u can obtain it yourself fairly easily. Which with me isn't necessarily the case.

Oats and Tomatoes are Hireling 2/3 only.

Unfortunately though, all Hirelings are apparently alcoholics with sad lives and only bring us hops most of the time.

I have noticed an increase in golds lately. Maybe it's just luck, but I do seem to be getting an awful lot of them. And, I have 5 mules with hirelings
