Can't login with one account, but works with another - same PC same settings

Hi.
About an hour ago it got a huge lag spike, and was thrown offline (during the race in the Windhelm). I was playing with a regular partner.
Eventually we both got thrown off.
He can login on his PC with his own account, but not with my own. We usually play on two different PC, but same connection.
However, now he can login fine with his own account on his PC, but he cannot login with my own. My account get a timeout error, his does not.
How does that make any sense? And how can we fix this?

The only 'fix' for this is when your server (or maybe just the zone) gets rebooted.

If this is normal, this is the first time the one I play with and I are considering cancelling our subscriptions. Because we have no interest in playing this game without one another.

I guess it depends on what you mean by normal, failkiwib16_ESO, but it is indeed an ongoing issue. When disconnected from the server in an abnormal way - crashes, lagging out, what have you - a specific account can be inflicted with this problem. Some have had luck in fixing it, but most seem to have no recourse as it seems to be tied to a specific account server-side. In your case, as you can still log in on the same system with a different account, it seems to be the latter.
As rich.goodyearneb18_ESO says, the only assured resolution of the issue is server maintenance/reboot. Search the forums for "301" (the error number you receive when trying to log in when so afflicted) and you will find more about it.He will bring life to the dead, hope to the living, and for him the Gate will open.

Both times for me interestingly enough, the game would crash would I would spend skill points after a reset, though the resets were different. First was refunded points from a 1.1.2 skill change and the second was a paid skill point refund.0
