Are we learning yet?

The KEY change at this point is the fact that we all, every single one of us from PTS, told ZOS that Craglorn was too easy. Overall, far too easy. Their comments about it was that it was a "group orientated zone" which, to me, meant that it would be mechanically challenging for a group with elements that would challenge healing, DPS, and tanking. So far there are three areas where this exists... Shada, the School of Blades, and the trio of mages inside of Zalgaz's Den (sp).

There was a third but the three lamia no longer respawn if you don't kill them together and that fight is now only a challenge to a group of Vet 2s (maybe).

So are we learning yet ZOS? Are you seeing the WAVE of people who are leaving because the game offers no challenge? Or those of us who do LOVE the game and what it can become that you refuse to give the challenge to? Are you really going to let WoWStar take your place at the top of the three games coming out this year?
And for all those you say are leaving due to ESO having no real challenge, there's just as many leaving because they HATE that ZoS made Craglorn a "group" zone. And lol on the comment about Wildstar, it bombed so bad that I don't think it can recover. This is the same argument being made ON BOTH SIDES and frankly ZoS and ESO is the loser. Neither side can agree on how they think ESO should be (a single player game with the opportunity to play with friends, or an MMO with single player content). Both sides have tossed up repeated threads written with great passion as to why the game is going to fail if ZoS doesn't listen to them.

ZoS is doing pretty well in my eyes at producing a reasonable balance between what TES fans want and what traditional MMO fans want. Riding this very thin line will always cause players on both sides to leave the game and there's nothing ZoS can do about that because you simply cannot make both groups happy. ESO is unique in that it has a VERY strong following from TES fans and a large majority of them would be very happy with a nearly solo game (that their friends can come play with them). That's hard to do as an MMO and traditional MMO fans see the game as weak or too easy so ZoS tosses in some "group" content to make them happy, which in turn ticks off TES fans. You can see where this is going and why ZoS is literally stuck between a rock and a hard place on this topic.

The Champion System, Theives Guild, Dark Brotherhood and Justice System will make great strides to improving relations with both sides of the table and IMHO make ESO an even better game than it already is.
