FIX THE 301 ERROR!

this has been effecting 3 accounts for 3 days now, me my gf and my friend have been unable to log in and lvl up because my gf has the 301 error(the error where you can't log into the game and it gets stuck on the blue spin circle saying requesting login until it times out and won't ever let you play) its effecting out entire guild because we are officers, we already missed a guild event WE MADE and now we haven't been able to do anything with them since.

ZOS this needs to be fixed it is beyond ridiculous how you ignore 10-20% of your customers, bugs, progression stopping quest bugs, pvp caltrops, rollbacks, unbalanced skills, and bots are all one thing BUT NOT BEING ABLE TO EVEN LOG INTO THE CHAR SELECT SCREEN? thats a WHOLE OTHER REALM OF ANNOYANCE, i am PAYING to play a game i currently cannot play, 120$ for the base game 30$ a month because i pay for two accounts and its all useless and a waste of money

we have called customer support several times, ON HOLD with them again for about 30+ mins last call i was on hold for almost 2 hrs, every single time they fail to follow up, i was told, hey we'll call you back, NOPE no call backs, nothing, they send us emails some of the time, when they do ITS THE SAME GENERIC ANSWERS OVER AND OVER, you guys know its not our problem, i can log into my account fine but when i log into my gfs it bugs? same addons(we disabled them just in case) same net, beside it obviously not being our fault we went through every single tiny fix/checklist CS and the forums have thrown at us and NOTHING WORKS

ZOS, this is a CANCER it will slowly spread to the players in denial and KILL ALL THEIR FUN, eventually it will lead to you all losing subscribers and losing money which i would prefer not to happen since i actually enjoyed this game while playing it.

YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS YOUR TOP PRIORITY, how is it ok for a company to just let customers to again PAY FOR A GAME THEY CANNOT EVEN PLAY OR LOG IN TO, if i wanted to stare at a log in screen i wouldn't have bought this game!!!!!!!!

again just for you to get the point ZOS.....FIXX!!!!! THIS!!!! ISSUE!!!!!!!!

i'm sick and tired of being BORED when i'm paying for a GAME! seriously??

Join "The 301'rs" sir. Its an unglorious unit to say the least but, you guys are on but a list of several people, some of whom have waited more than a week, seeking a fix to this issue. Most of us have been here for days hoping for some sort of answer, or inclusion to what is going on and so far we have gotten the usual "sign the new ToS" (which is impossible, mind you), or some other run around garbage insisting the problem is on our end.

Yes, we feel your pain and anguish, and yes, we also know and have stated to them many times that the issue does not lie on the client-side. Most here have even went through every troubleshooting method known to humans possible to prove this point.

We know you're frustrated sir and we concur with the sentiments, however, you are among but several people here who have been yelling and screaming for the same thing. Time to sit back, wait, and spend money for their horrible tech crew to stop scratching themselves and figure out whats wrong, along with the rest of us 301'rs.

Second. Fabulous, yet another thread about the same issue. This thread in no way will speed up the fix. It will have absolutely no affect on ESO figuring out how to fix it faster and only serves as one more sounding board for complaining.

The only CS response you will get in this thread is closing it and pointing people to the thread they are posting in (rather than post the same message in each of the countless threads on the same subject).. They announced today they are still working on figuring out what the issue is. I expect that is the only type of update we can get/they can give until they figure it out.

If its of any consolation, as this post says, they have stated many times on other threads that they are indeed trying to find out whats going on, and being as they have also stated that this 301 issue is priority #1, that is at least a start.

I am to understand that there is to be some downtime tomorrow so with any luck, they may have something figured out by then. However, ranting at yet another forum post about the 301 issue (don't get me wrong, I get it) is about the equivalent of yelling "FIND GARY BUSEY!!!" at your TV. It may hear you but have no idea on how to exactly find it ... yet.

@stryderzz If it was free to play they might actually make fixing 301 a higher priority since people who can't log in can't buy microtransactions that are needed for a stable revenue stream. On the other hand...we poor saps have already paid for this month and a certain amount of turnover is expected. So they are sorry to see us go...but not yet sorry enough to fix the issue.

And i think they have enough man power to fix this issue after a week its ridiculous they obviously are saying its their numb 1 priority so we sit here like monkeys and wait while we pay for their game

HAHA funny boyyyy. If the fix for an issue that prevents users from utilizing the product or service that they have paid for, and an issue that has already been around for 7 days would only be fixed in another 5-7 days, that will be a huge, huuuge business and genuine press issue, since this game has a subscription.

It has already been fixed for NA servers, EU is going to be fixed in 6-7 hours.

For me and some other people the following was able to fix it

I was on the login screen when I did this (not sure if relevant, but hey, details..)

I then went to the account page and changed my password:
from an alphanumeric password, to a password containing special characters (eg. @#$%)
This has fixed the 301 error + time-out for me and some other people already.

So give it a shot! good luck
