Hi guys and gals!
I'm running an older machine but have been able to play since launch, even though I've been having the same problems that many have been writing about here on the forum. Ie, lag on EU server, getting kicked out of game several times each gaming night etc.
Still, I have been able to play every night.
However, when the patch 1.1.2 arrived I couldn't even get to the log-in window where you type your password. The game frooze just a few seconds after I pressed play and the new "game window" came up. I never got any further from there.
Not being able to play for two days now, I have been reading the forums for a solution and in another thread I found it.
Make the following change in your UserSettings.txt
Replace this line:
Command: "SET RequestedNumThreads "0"
With these two instead:
SET RequestedNumJobThreads "0"
SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads "0"
After that, make sure you save your file and restart the game.
When I did this, I got to the log-in screen where you type your password. Couldn't get there after the patch was installed.
Finally I got to character selection and after quite some load time, I'm finally in the game again and can play.
Also, for you guys having dual screens, not being able to move your mouse outside the gaming window/screen, change:
If you change:
SET FULLSCREEN_v5 "1"
into:
SET FULLSCREEN_v5 "2"
You will (I can at least), be able to move your mouse to the other window. I still have to get to cursor mode, by opening inventory or such, but it works.

So no help for the second monitor black screen issue when using true fullscreen. Was fine until the Craglorn patch of doom...0
