Biting Jabs is causing a delay in any ability used afterwards.

If this was intentional, there was no mention of it in the patch notes. If it was intentional and it was designed to prevent spamming Biting Jabs, that is another topic. Some are even saying that its working as intended now because of the animation. That is all well and good, but the problem is that you cannot use any skill following Biting Jabs well after the animation is complete. You just stand there spamming abilities trying to make something work while you get hit. it is a small delay, but it is large enough to matter in VR zones where every fraction of a second counts.

it feels clunky and sloppy. Hopefully this was an accident just like all the other issues with 1.1.2. Because if this was intentional, then that is bad news indeed. You just effectively made every Templar want to quit using the best tool in the shed.

    i have been looking for a post about this for the last 24 hours. i really hope it was an unintentional side effect. destro staff can spam pulsar and dual can spam steel tornado yet jabs leaves you standing there like a pinata for a good 1.5 sec unable to do anything including light or heavy attack.

    I very much hope this is fixed asap as it has resulted in my Templar having no viable dps spec with the skills i am currently pointed into

    And yes, I keep having this on my Templar. Think I might start playing Season 2 of the Walking Dead game or something tonight til this shiz is fixed.

    It WAS intentional. But due to the backlash, they are just going to make it cost more to cast.

    jabs and pulsar are both 249 currently why should jabs cost any more than pulsar? especially when pulsar can restore mana with the destro passive
    and if they do not want Templar spamming jabs are they going to also add internal CDs on other aoe skills like steel tornado and pulsar? or what about increasing the mana cost on those skills?
    i do not see why Templar is being targeted here.

    i am trying to find another build (not pulsar) to use for my temp and its seeming fairly difficult. without jabs i am not sure if i can set up a decent aoe bar. that is without respecing into destro staff and using pulsar

    And demand they hot fix it NOW. They say they will fix it in a future patch, so we are stuck being pinatas for the forseeable future.

    it really is annoying. Templar DPS was already extremely clunky before that change. Now it is almost unplayable. There is not a single ability in the templar class trees that can effectively be used as a filler without running out of magicka in seconds.

    I was really quite upset, but mainly because it was a *** stealth thing again (IF it was intentional which i doubt by now. I actually doubt that 90% of the things that happen in game are in control of the game producer any more. More in the hands of interns or something).

    IF you do one of those nerfs, I at least expect you to be upfront about it and have people test it on the PTR (which should be open to any player having a sub for more than a month btw)...
