Okay, well as i figure - this is just an issue of lots of people connecting to patch server at once?

So if we all take it one by one - I'll go first

To be fair it could be a patching server overload due to everyone trying to get in at once.

Same here. Though after reading all the issue on the US server after the patch, I am not sure I want it up yet XD

Switched language to german and patch started to download...

though I'm not sure will it just patch it to different language or will it patch to 1.1.2

If you switch the patcher to NA megaserver, the patch will download, but would that cause client issues when switching back to EU?
