Do you mean Cristal Fragment? - it tooo expensive - near 400 magika for 500 dmg AND cast neat 2-2.5 sec. Ok, lets think that it cast as written - 2 We have near 250 dmg per sec, rigth?
Endless Fury - 147 dps. Instant cast, but animation continue near 1 sec, so it clear 147 dps.
V/Curse - 3.5.sec lasting, after it deals near 300 -350 dmg. You can curse only 1 target. So 100 dps.
Liquid Lighting - you need to fins an idiot, that stands in the pool of lighting for 3 sec. But if he stay - he got near 180-200 dmg for 3 sec.
Last - Daedric useless mines. Cost near 400 mana and deal 236 dmg, It less, than Vulcano mine does. And you still need to find an idiot, that runs into it
so, as a sorc, what dmg spells you use?

✭✭✭I agree that it needs to be nerfed. It just does. Its spammed way to much. Am I saying that because i am mad im not killing someone? no. I am one of the worst players on PvP(in? lol) so not getting a kill is the least of my concerns. I have no prob with the ability or the class(im playin a sorc right now, as a matter of fact) but it is, in all honesty, spammed ALLOT. There are counters, that is true. But it does not change the fact its still spammed all to h**.0 -

Well, seriously i'm a sorc and last time i stopped using BE - Venom Arrow is biggest problem.

Just a hint (I have a Sorc alt too, though it is not my favourite class) if you are hit, break it to get immunity, and then 2 x BE and you are out of range.
I am a fighter, so then I usually put Immovable, get back and Streak through the archer...

(I posted this elsewhere, but felt it deserved it's own thread being that I truly believe this would balance the ridiculous level of easy escape that Bolt Escape offers.)
LITERALLY all bolt escape does is rob the better player of AP once the sorcerer realizes he's certainly lost.
I'm all about them having bolt escape, but it shouldn't be a "sure escape" every single time. It should be cast-able roughly 2 times.
No other class has a sure "escape after losing", neither should you. You lost? Face it, give me my earned AP. The ONLY way it should be a sure escape is if you cast it at the BEGINNING of combat, not when you've fought long enough to be taken down to 15%.
Can I avoid a entire Zerg as a nightblade? Yes, and it requires a full magicka bar, a magicka potion and wit.
THAT is how an escape skill should be.
On top of that, DOTs (including ones I've put on enemies!) break my stealth and ensure that I'm detected/caught.
Want to balance Bolt? Have the cost multiplied by 1.5x each time castes within 5 seconds of itself. That would allow you to get away under the circumstance that you choose to do so close to the beginning of a fight, not the end after you've been defeated.
You as NB have much better tools to avoid zerg than sorc. And if you think bolt escape will save you from zerg then you are naive. Zerg will have advatage of horses, so it's game over after you ran out of magicka.
It is cool skill, but it is not OP, it does not do much damage. Stun do not last for long. It is handy, but if I face better player he will never let me out. Like yesterday, I knocked a guy down bolted away and that guy killed me 2 seconds after. I don't know how he managed to close this gap so fast, but he did it. So there is some counter skill for escapes.
Btw blink in wow works similar to bolt escape and is awsome. Yet nobody bash it in wow...0 -
The only peeps whining about bolt escape are the gankgroups,ganking on lowbies on their way to a siege attack or defence(chain cc`ing everyone 100 times over because that is fun and in no way OP)trying to have some fun in this godforsaken boring game,making sure those lowbies don`t return soon in pvp land.
And then they encounter a sorc,who is not having any of that and shows them his behind......streaking away.
