Currently cant log into my main. Was at Riften when I was booted out of the game and now get endless loading screen when trying to log in. I can log into alts at other locations.

Yup, my partner and I are in the same situation. We're in a cave in The Rift. When we try to leave we both get endless loading screens. At least in our case when we Alt-F4 out of game and log back in we end up back in the cave.1 -

✭✭Similiar although I was trying to load the Rift from Eastmarch. Now I'm stuck in a weird place of the map in Eastmarch and can't even move or do anything. Time for bed I guess.

I force closed, and now when I go back into the game, I am stuck between zones or something, my UI is messed up, and if I try to type or anything, I get a UI error that I cannot dismiss. View is stuck in first person and cannot be changed, and my character can't move around. LOL.1

jbfroik✭✭✭Simmilar issues here. yes you can tab and get back into game if your in a cave, as i am but if i try to leave the cave i get an endless load screen. Maybe ill grind some trolls yeah XD0 -

I tried a few times to port to the Riften wayshrine with no luck. I was able to port to Davon's watch, but the load screen was quite long. I am also EP, and I was doing VR content in Alik'r before trying to port to Riften.0

PocketNova✭✭✭✭Im also EP and its my alt that is now unable to login. Set aside a full day to get her to vet rank and boom, the 3rd issue Ive had with her being unable to login now since that damn patch. My main character however is perfectly fine.PC NA

When I tried to use a wayshrine within the past hour to enter The Rift, the game crashed back to the log-in screen and the background music for it and the character load screen didn't play, not unless I exited the game and re-entered. Not sure if that offers any useful clues as to the source of the bug.
And like some others here I then tried entering through the Eastmarch border and now it just keeps loading forever. When I exit the game and re-load the character, it is in a spot just south of the place in Eastmarch where you enter The Rift. But it is stuck in first person mode. You can look around but cannot move. And the UI shows a box for zone chat, the box for active quests, and some small stylized jewelry looking icon at the top. The rest of the UI other than the landscape is blank. The character is completely stuck.
When I typed "M" to bring up the map I got a dialogue box titled UI Error with the following message:

I might have accidentally been typing in the chat box because it was selected by default in this bugged UI. In any case after this error message pops up the screen locks and I cannot click on the button to dismiss the error message. But the background music in that screen does keep playing.
(I would go to my other leveled character but it is in Wabbajack and I hear that it crashed as well. Same issue here. First time for me. I cannot log onto my main. Level 48. I parked him at the bank in Riften as per my usual. It would seem the bots and spammers now own The Rift.
