It might be a waste of time, but I'll keep responding because if we stop wasting our time doing it, all that will be seen is people complaining about WW and no one providing arguments for why the nerfs aren't needed when they're heavy-handed.WW replaces your entire two Skill Bars. It removes your ability to use Weapon Passives. It doesn't work with many Class Passives or Masteries because many require the use of Class Skills WW doesn't have access to. They don't have burst damage. They don't have group heals. But they're not allowed to be strong because of some arbitrary reason.Werewolves and Vampires should never be stronger than pure classes or as strong. They ARE NOT CLASSES. Why should you be able to be a healer/dps or a tank on a WW or Vamp in either PVE or PVP? Most classes dont even do poison damage by the way so its not like the 10% weakness to poison is destructive on WW since nobody really deals that type of damage. Werewolf should have been weak to fire which is more in line with the Lore -.-
The game isnt set around werewolves and vampires, this isn't Twilight Scrolls Online.
Also Weres aren't weak to fire in lore, that's Vampires, so...
Finally the game isn't set around Nightblades, or Templars, or Wardens, or any particular Class. What argument are you even trying to make? That things don't deserve to be in the game if it's not "set around" them? Why not? You people keep going on about how WW doesn't deserve to be strong because of...some weird obsession with seeing it not be viable? Y'all act like anything you don't personally like should be removed from the game and have no viability whatsoever.Werewolves and Vampires should never be stronger than pure classes or as strong. GUPITOS, UNTIL I can put sorc, NB, DK, etc. skills on my werewolf- IT NEEDS TO BE COMPETETIVE BY ITSELF.
I pay FAR more than you buddy, you're opinion is worth less than the toilet--- nvm.
How's that for: 'your opinion and perspective is invalid because I say so?!'
It's a skill line and not a class like you listed. It does not need to be.
There's no point in 'arguing' with them. They are certified tr--ls.
I can assure you off extended interactions with either of these individuals that it goes nowhere meaningful.

You seem to have a lot of fun here. Anything to make a viable playstyle far from viable makes you happy?
I personally can't really fathom a meme greater than 'pressure playstyle that burns out in a seconds'.
'Class' whose identity is around a STRONG neutral game has a nearly nonexistent neutral game under any actual pressure.
I am having fun. Yall got your Sorc nerfs. Now go play your Sorc WWs
The only problem is "hurr hurr go play ur Sorc WW" is such a dismissive passive aggressive comment because WW is going to be even worse now, even on Sorc. They finally tuned down the problematic Passives that caused the WW nerfs in the first place without reverting those nerfs. WW not getting free damage, healing, and sustain from those Masteries will bring it in line enough, there is 0 need for the nerfs to go through now. Instead WW is losing healing from both the Hircine's and the reduction to CoE, they're losing sustain from the changes to CoE and no Stam Recovery buff being returned despite the cost increases, and they're losing power from Static Reverb being proc'd only from Sorc Skills on top of having less Stam and sustain for pressure.
The changes to Sorc were needed and I'm not bothered by those at all. What I'm bothered by is that those changes were made but the nerfs to WW are still left in place. We're STILL being punished for Sorc Masteries even after those are being toned down.
Good words, sounds like we needd nerf WW more, i have some suggestions
1 - Werewolves deal 50% less Light Attack and Heavy Attack damage.
2 - Werewolves take 100% increased Poison damage.
3 - Werewolf skills have a 40% ramping cost each time they are used, lasting for 10 seconds.
4 - Werewolves heal 90% less.
5 - Rampage causes Werewolves to take 4,000 Oblivion damage per second while increasing their damage by 5%.
6 - Werewolves do not have access to class, world, guild, weapon, or armor passives.Nah we'd still clearly be OP. Instead WW should Polymorph into the default dog model the game uses and have their Skills replaced with tricks! Speak, Shake, Spin, Fetch, and Play Dead.AdonisJorge wrote: »At least you finally admit to enjoying seeing WW get nerfed, for whatever reason you have such an obvious disdain of the playstyle over. Nah, just make it where the sheer amount of stamina and vitality needed to transform just —in’ insta-kills you while transforming.
Recap can look like 100,000+ oblivion damage. /s

You cannot use Crystal Weapon and Crystal Frags at the same time, and you stated that you wanted to change Crystal Weapon into a spammable skill.
I think that unless you give something up, you cannot gain anything.
I currently use crushing weapon and frags on a bow/bow sorc. With the reverb changes I'll have to drop the mastery or lose frags to run a hopefully not horrible crystal weapon. Either way, my build is getting pretty aggressively boned by this change. I was more speaking generally to the sorc kit that frags is in a good spot and changing it because of some insistence on crystal weapons being janky garbage would be a big mistake. Sorc has so much just straight garbage in their kit, so plenty of things to change before messing with one of the few good and balanced things in the kit.
If reverb cannot be used on shock damage (Sorc's "elemental"), then it is almost worthless to Sorc. Sorc lacks sufficient damage over time (DoTs) and instant-cast spam (Crystal takes 0.8 seconds, far exceeding 100ms).
Perhaps DoTs should be added to some less popular skills, such as Shattering Spines and Daedric Tomb, or a viable spam should be added to Sorc.
So on top of WW nerfs we now also get sorcerrer 40% nerf on Blood Magic heals and 25% nerfs on sustain while dragonknight only gets 20% nerf on Heart of Flame and a buff (!) for landslide and Inoxisomething Descent (2% dmg done, 2% healing, 2% damage potency, 2% healing potency buff)?

It's not just your bow/bow build that got hit hard by the changes to Reverb.
My Shock-Sorc build basically took an ~25% (average) DPS nerf since now my main spammable (shocking soul with class flourish) and targeted DoT (shock reach) that I used to synergize the build into something with viable pressure, no longer works with reverb despite leaning into Sorcs main element/theme (Lightning).
Now the only way to proc reverb on my build is Armaments or curse (so armaments is up to 4 proc every 4 seconds (depending on targets health, also assuming I use it off cooldown, so 2 big IFs to get that proc rate) and curse is maybe 1 proc every 6 seconds (on average, if I get lucky and if it doesn't get cleansed before it deals any damage, or even more IFs to get this abysmal proc rate), so because of this change I am getting maybe 1 DoT tick per second out of reverb (at best), which is definitely not worth an entire mastery slot for.
With the changes to reverb, I'm much better off just removing reverb entirely (despite it being on brand for Sorcs lightning theme) and stacking into max mag for font + shields to try and make my abilities hit as hard as possible, or just swapping entirely into the meta DoT build (since the nerfs to CoE did nothing to address why CoE was so strong on that build), or to the same old max mag shield build every other magsorc runs, instead of getting to play a fun and thematic off-meta build that was finally viable.

So lack of any Templar mentions for week 4 - does this mean zos decided on keeping algebra 3 statistics 2 level of mess left with balanced warrior in week 3?

Correct. It's underwhelming output and over complext to get there. Makes no sense and that's just the way we should expect things after all these years. Making Balanced Warrior grant the 3k armor when an Aedric Spear ability is used and giving you 1% of your combined armor up 700 damage and then having Prism give you flat or % more damage per plar skill would've made this whole thing a lot cleaner and easier to maintain long term while also giving Templar some much needed love.

I don’t like how it completely removes it out of the equation for werewolf either. They took a very convoluted route that seems to cause a lot of underwhelming outliers for no apparent reason. Wasn’t a suggestion just to give themselves Minor Brutality when not in a group for the time being?

Plar need more buffs, no doubt, maybe adjusting the numbers can do good

Plar needs soooo much more than just damage and meaningless resistances, but at the very least giving some more damage is a starting point. From a lore perspective, the class should be so much more dynamic and interesting than it is, but in its implementation it's just a boring single target class that doesn't even do that particularly well anymore. A nice damage boost is all we can ask for/expect until the rework in 2 years...

Yeah I really don't get why they pushed armor so much on plar, they even stated that they understand that plar needs more damage.

I'm sorry this just seems so frustrating at this point. I really don't understand why it's taking so long to just describe something that happened several weeks ago. I'm not blaming you individually, but I'm also not buying this as PR. I don't know where you guys see this approach working.
Hey, no worries. I left that in there, as we're still working on it, and didn't want anyone thinking we'd stopped. We have a draft that's going through some review and iterations, so it is coming along. Once everyone is happy with it, we'll get it into localization. So, within the next week or two is likely.
This is another 5 week cycle, so maybe the we'll see some more significant ones next week. Like the Aghaedh Boss in Solo MoS on 3MF one-shotting you with Temptest even when following the mechanic wasn't even mentioned as something they were aware of in the Week 3 Summary.madmufffin wrote: »
