On the eu server we have 2-3 bars in Vengeance.
Im in a pvp guild that plays Greyhost every night(this week Vengeance every night).
We don't really like it either, but pvp is what we do.
Why would you decon your sets because of a one week test???
You can also increase your mount speed with other means.
Good luck.
Funnily enough the reason we first started running in Icereach was because 3 plebs were doing exactly that and even fleecing players for money so they could get their Emp title, we stopped that and helped many a player get Emp for free.Sidewaves89 wrote: »You spent majority of 850 days of actual gameplay in Icereach killing newbies?

The company is american, the majority of people playing the game are american. So good luck keeping the lights on for this game without us.

Don't worry, at every point I've logged on to PC EU it was also empty. Not sure what "night" means for them, especially since some parts of the EU right now have daylight 24/7.

I live in Alaska, within arctic circle. And I’d say I’m on when most are not, and even then I wouldn’t say it’s empty. Enough people to flip res/keeps.
But yea, it’s not like a state fair attendance.

So obviously like so many others I’m not happy with the current thinking of ESO.
To make matters worse, you can no longer increase your mount speed by doing the Cyrodiil quest because you simply cannot use the temporary siege repair kit in Vengeance… Seriously unbelievable thinking on the part of the Devs.
Can we please have the U50 campaign back so we can get back to enjoying PVP as it was before?
I did actually try to send in a support ticket about this but amazingly, that doesn’t work either…

Prior to it being removed... U50 was a dead campaign. Nobody was playing in the campaign. it became a campaign to get an easy emperor title, and that was it. No, I do not want U50 coming back because nobody but emp farmers would be playing in the campaign.
I want ZOS to fix the servers, and if that means removing campaigns to improve the main one so be it.

This is true.
Also true for Ravenwatch. Dead except red ball groups. I only have experience on the EU server btw.

Well for us on a friday it was our small blue zerg ;-D
But we like Vengence better.
Another day in vengeance and every time tarnish nightmare proccs on me I dashboard.
ZoS really needs to come out and just give a solid update on what the vision for Vengence/GH is.
What are we even doing? Is anything we learn from these tests going to be ported into GH or is the plan to just add things to Vengence until the performance gets bad enough then we say okay this is the new camp?
If it's the second option... the problem starts with the "everyone gets a trophy" mindset in Vengence. The skills are too washed out.. no one has a real impact.. etc etc.
It's a 180 from what made GH and ESO combat as a whole fun and what always brings people back.
This is shaping up to be another U35 situation.. but on the PvP side of the house.. and zos appears to have not learned a thing.
'Tis a shame.

Yep. Where are those improvements to GH that the "testing" from vengeance was supposed to yield anyway?

Oh, you sweet summer child. They’re not testing Vengeance to improve Gray Host. They’re building PvP from the ground up—a project that’ll take the better part of a decade to finish, all while driving away the remaining PvP playerbase by repeatedly forcing an unfinished prototype on us instead of letting us play the game mode we actually log in for.

I've said it for years, but FORTNITE in ESO is coming. It might be what Microsoft wants as well. But it won't work.

How would they test it and then improve it if none where supposed to play it?
Or did you think only PVE players where to test it and in the end it would be perfect for PVP players?
I really don't understand your logic....
The problem with eso pvp right now isn't the fact that it is filled with "non-pvpers". The problem is that it is filled with predominately pvp-focused sweats that treat it like it's esports. And it far outweighs the casual population.

I think this is only partially true, though I do not disagree there are tons of sweatlord towerhumpers. And sadly, I don't think ESO can ever get the population back that has left over the huge missteps of the past 4 years.
But the rest of the currently remaining population just wants to sit on siege (so I'd argue that they are non-pvpers). Sieging as "PVP". What a freaking joke.
And in Vengeance, siege is ridiculously overpowered.
Personally, I am pro-GH. That said, my small man group did decide to go try out Vengeance since there were the 5 piece set bonus actives.
We were on AD, and all the faction wanted to do was avoid Blue and Red, and PVdoor.
If AD met any resistance past maybe 2 or 3 oilers, they went somewhere else (after they were wiped, while never even getting off their siege). It was truly a pathetic to watch, and we laughed many a time at someone getting steamrolled because they deemed slowing rotating their meatbag or oil and left clicking would do infinitely more damage than they would do themselves. Even though the whole point (allegedly) of Vengeance is the "level playing field". What a joke, and what a complete farce.
I will easily grant that this iteration of Vengeance is worlds better than any other iteration of Vengeance I have participated in. But it was still a miserable experience. Still a siege fest. Still a zerg fest. Having skill and a modicum of coordination means nothing verses one guy dropping oils. You could legitimately halve the amount of damage siege does and I think it would still be overpowered beyond belief.
If all the PVP experience has to offer is a giant zerg and siege (as opposed to coordination, game knowledge and understanding, skill expression, and build variety) seriously, what is the point?

Reading comprehension is hard, I know.
Nobody is saying they shouldn’t test Vengeance (although resources could be allocated into better things but that’s not the main complaint). We’re saying they shouldn’t shut down Gray Host to force participation. If Vengeance can’t attract enough players on its own to generate meaningful data, that’s valuable feedback in itself.
Test it. Iterate on it. Improve it. Just stop taking away the game mode the established PvP community actually logs in to play every time you need more beta testers. That’s been the complaint from day one.

Nothing to do with reading comprehension.
You said and keep saying that pvp players shouldn't be forced to participate in the testing. Then who is going to test it?
You cant have good testing without the people you want playing it testing it...
And its ONE week. If it where a month or 2, you would have a point.
Its over now anyway, it only took a week and it wasn't too bad this time.
