Can we PLEASE get an update to Aetheric Lancer to remove the “go locate the circle and deal damage” aspect? It has always been unplayable to use for a number of reasons.
Would truly love if this would just fire like Null Arca (or something else creative). The other IA sets are getting tremendous updates. Would really love to be able to go full Templar and have a reason to wear the sets we grinded for months.

Yes please! I'm fine with the damage from the proc being weaker than Null Arca, since it includes the 300 WSD, but the circle is annoying to play around

Now that Empower has been rightly buffed back up it is only natural that Rakkat should be buffed in a similar fashion.
Monolith losing 100 spell damage per proc is now made this a not so great set in general, besides sitting on a static dummy parse abusing concussion procs with new mythic. Yes you have reduced the roof, but made it so much worse for everything else.
This set was already very hard to proc and very situational. Now with a max +300 spell damage increase, this one goes back to the closet for me. Will review again after class rework in case sorcs get a spammable that can proc this.

Why advocate buffing a set that already has strong area-of-effect damage? Sorc only needs to use Streak twice to deal considerable area-of-effect damage with Monolith, which is completely unreasonable, and yet you still want to buff this set?
Shattered Paths Signet mythic
This mythic feels ok in pvp but as a purely offensive mythic with no defensive traits that essantially locks you out of using ultimate, the damage can be raised incrementally. Currently it increases your damage done with status effects by 1% for every 1 Ultimate up to 170% in pve and up to 85% in pvp. Please consider raising the damage done with status effects in pvp to 100%, up from 85%
This is a slight buff that shouldnt make it too strong while still leaving it as a niche option for some builds.
Shattered Paths Signet
This mythic still deals half damage when Feral Guardian pet is active.
We now know that Warden was not an outlier when it comes to using signet nor was it getting those numbers due to a broken interaction with the pet. In fact ww last week was parsing 201k, sorc 195k with signet.
The pet nerf also doesnt exist on live servers currently with signet released and the game is in a healthy state. No broken interactions, warden is not oppressive or even meta in pve or pvp with signet. Both warden and the game is in a healthy state on live servers currently.
Which is why i believe the pet nerf currently in pts should not go to live. Please consider reverting it

The mistake you’re making is looking at just “numbers” not real world use.
Firstly, it’s not that it’s “hard” to proc it’s that it’s cumbersome to proc. In the scheme of combat the minimum setup time for Monolith is 3 seconds. One can use Overload to proc it but that also assumes that the Sorc either has the Ult charged OR wants to waste their Ult on, say, trash mobs. Despite Overload being a low cost Ult it’s still somewhat unreasonable to tie the cost of a set Proc into Ultimate for a realistic proc. Plus, no Sorc is going to run a dungeon or Trial with Overload always on just so they can proc Monolith.
One could use Mages Wrath to proc it, but again, it’s still a minimum of 3 seconds. In most PvE content a lot of enemies are just about wiped out in 3 seconds so by the time the monoliths are up the fight is over. So are we saying Monolith is really a “boss only” effective set? Because if so that makes it an even worse prospect.
It’s also the fact that a Sorc has to go out of their way every 10 seconds to proc a new Monolith when one times out. When you’re talking about content like mech heavy Vet DLCs or Trials that’s not always realistic. The Sorc needs to maintain DPS and mech management not keeping up Monoliths. If a Sorc relies on the “5th tick” to proc then, mathematically they’ll never proc all 3.
Lastly, the damage potential can be descent but even in the strongest of cases we’re looking at an overall DPS out of monolith of around 3k DPS, on the high end. Compare that to other sets that can deal damage on that scale but don’t have near as cumbersome of a proc. Nirn can hit those numbers, I currently get 2,626 DPS out of Oblivions Foe now, that’s on par with the high end of Monolith and I can apply that to multiple targets in just one skill cast.
So while Monolith takes a full 3 seconds (at best) to proc to full and then requires a Storm Calling cast or 5th tick to maintain, other sets can be burst applied in one GCD making them synergize with nearly any rotation and deliver ballpark DPS as a buffed Monolith.
That’s why it’s not considered strong or used by many players because why would anyone choose to equip a set that doesn’t scale to damage that’s really any more than currently available sets but has a ridiculously cumbersome proc? It makes no sense.
Go take Monolith into Vet Bal Sunnnar and fight just the first boss then tell us all how much uptime you’re getting on Monolith. The boss isn’t hard but you see how a set like Monolith contributes next to nothing in the fight because unlike test dummies, most content won’t just stand there and let you spam Monoliths.
So in the real world a Sorc isn’t going to get persistent uptime on Monolith unless they sacrifice some of their DPS on proc maintenance and if they don’t do that then they’re going to get a low uptime on Monolith which means the damage it brings is going to be low. As for the W/S damage, I can get a 100 to 300 W/S buff just about anywhere in ESO.
