Just a thought that I had in my head, but why is it magic damage from a CB proc? It doesn’t make too much sense. You’re blowing up a corpse. Should it not be bleed or disease damage? If it was, then it could be buffed by Martial Knife, increasing the damage and making it a little more viable in content.

Yeah, I've always hated that this is Magic for whatever completely arbitrary reason.

    It should definitely be Disease.

Magic damage is the "default" damage type for anything extraordinary. Necromancer is already all over the place with its class tools sourcing basically every damage type there is so my guess is magic fit best to incorporate everything. Necromancy IS a school of magic.

I think Corpseburster's damage should change based on the player's chosen morph for Shocking Siphon. If it's Detonating Siphon, it should cause Disease Damage, while Mystic Siphon should cause Shock Damage.

I agree with your last statement, but I'm speaking on the corpse itself. Maybe I'm thinking too logically, but a body being filled with blood should erupt into a bloody mess. Or Diseased, since it is a corpse.

Disease damage probably makes more sense. "Bleed damage" atleast in execution refers to damage that would cause the target to bleed not literal weaponized blood causing damage. So yeah youre completely right on that.
